I think he refers to players from France/UK. Yes, we have this problem too, it rarely happened to have the entire team available...I do think that ARC is in the official release window so it's a common problem for both if the players decide to stay with club team for various reasons.

One of the competitive advantage T1 have over T2 is the possibility to have large groups of players released, sometimes earlier than the official window and who trains together more than the players from T2 nations. Sure, there are some players who play abroad and are still called for national teams but this are rather exceptions and it's easier to integrate few players than the entire team who is scattered trough various clubs from abroad. Somebody at FRR figure out this and this one of the reasons we decided to start a pro competition. But this is the local competition so I think is normal to have those players for REC.

11 November: Georgia-Tonga

Not bad fixtures. Tonga looked quite a bit better than Samoa in November, defeating Italy. Fiji totally dominated Japan so will also be a tough fixture with a first choice side. Wales in Wales will be incredibly difficult, but not quite as challenging defensively as Scotland.

What I don't like from that schedule is the fact of having to move from Georgia to Wales and then back to Georgia (and probably then back to France). But since Wales gave them that date, there is little chance to do better.

Wow so USA and Canada won't be playing either Georgia or Romania this autumn if those schedules are accurate.

Makes sense not to play Canada again after we will play them away in June.

Rugby Canada confirmed on twitter that Canada will play Georgia, Tonga, and Russia in the November internationals. They also mentioned another test match in Canada, which is optimistic frankly.

Funny thing y'all and I'm sure this will go over real well here. During their twitter Q&A today Rugby Canada says they have confirmed three fixtures this fall in Europe against Georgia, Tonga and Russia and also said we should be having a fourth Autumn International in Canada as well.

I guess those rumors about Georgia fixtures aren't true then.

Now I'm taking this with a grain of salt as it was released during April Fools time in New Zealand as far as I know. Apparently the All Blacks are hosting Samoa with Tonga vs Wales as the opener on Friday June 16th. If true that could be a real fun weekend of Rugby down in Auckland. Makes sense to me as the All Blacks are looking to play a warmup test before facing off with the Lions and they could do a lot worse than Samoa.

I mean as you said, it would be great for the Oaks if true but it seems a tad hopeful and unrealistic. In a span of a few hours we saw the rumored sexy looking Georgia schedule shot down earlier today so take things with a grain of salt. Honestly I just can't see Romania getting TWO T1 tests two weeks in a row while Fiji, Tonga and the USA get nothing in November. But if they do all the power to them. They definitely deserve to be tossed some sort of bone after years of being the T2 black sheep.

It would be pretty cruel if it was an April fools joke. A tier 3 nations i could understand but Samoa?

Samoa v NZ not April fools story. The story that the ABs were planning on a warm up game before facing the Lions came out earlier this week and you can usually tell quite obviously by the tone of a story whether it's an April fools one or not. It's not guaranteed yet but I would be surprised if it doesn't happen. As the article says Samoa will be in camp anyway and have their best players available.
With Wales v Tonga planned to be the curtainraiser it should be a bumper day for PI rugby fans and community in Auckland.

Wow, so this will be the first Russian home game against non European opposition outside of RWC qualifying for a long, long time? I hope it won't be in Sochi! Or maybe I'm wrong and it won't be a home game and instead it'll be another useless neutral venue game in North Wales!

Dang timezones. Your post was 3 in the afternoon Mountain time yesterday. We're just so behind everyone in North America.

If it's in Russia it will probably be in Sochi. Canada will have a lot of travel in November and I can't see them wanting to play in Krasnoyarsk.

If I were to guess they'd play ??? in Toronto, then Tonga in France, Russia in Sochi or a neutral venue then finish off against Georgia in Georgia. At least that makes the most sense travel wise.

If it will be home game for Russia, then the place depends mostly on which decade of November it is scheduled. And it also depends on who will be the president of RUR, as there is uncertainty who is the president today.
Last time Russia played an international in November it took place in Moscow against Spain on November 8 2008. But November games vs. Canada always took place in Canada or UK, so I presume it will be the one in Toronto, as Russia usually participates in Hong Kong Cup of Nations and will be on tour.
