Re: Rugby in Kenya
World Rugby has approved the match between Kenya vs Germany.
Fantastic news, Germany should know, we never loose on home soil.
All the best to both teams.

Germany will play without their french legion and without their sevens players.
If Kenia comes up with their best team they will win by 50-60 points.

The Kenya Cup comes to a close tomorrow with KCB taking on Kabras Sugar R.C
Although it seems tight, I'm banking on Kabras Sugar to win this title.

The international season starts with Kenya playing Germany in Nairobi on the 27th of May.
Looks like it will be a South African fist fight since both are coached by South Africans.
Kenya coached by Jerome Paarwater from Western Province and Germany coached by Kobus Potgieter.
May the best team win.

Yeah, I don't think he will be available. He didn't participate in last years games.
Re: Rugby in Kenya
Kenya Simbas XVs have finally landed test match opportunities in November.
This has been long overdue, as the KRU have been fighting for it for a long time. Kudos to WR, HKRU, and KRU.
We will now play against Russia, Hong Kong and PNG. Can't wait.

Re: Rugby in Kenya
If that's true, it doesn't say anything good about Rugby Canada, since they said a few weeks ago they were supposed to play Russia in November. I imagine they will face a different REC team, either Spain or Germany then.
REC 2018 never happened. Please respect my beliefs

Yep, Canada would also kill two birds with one stone if they join in on the four nations competition. But, let's all wait and see what happens in the coming months.

Kenya Simbas are set to travel to Cape town for a high performance camp before meeting Germany.
This was revealed by the Kenya Rugby Union, as the German game is being taken with all the seriousness it deserves and is a must win.

I would have said that's the ideal draw for Africa 1, whichever team gets through. Let's face it, they're not at the point where they can hope to qualify from the group no matter who they draw, so the best that can happen is that they draw the biggest teams just for the experience of playing against them, and the high media profile and big stadiums those matches will guarantee (anyone vs. All Blacks is always a pull).

That's exactly what our boys want. When I talked to them personally, they all say they want the experience to play people they only see on t.v like Israel Dagg, Bryan Habana and Kieran Ried.

Kenya finishes the season on a record low 63 points.
Now to compensate for 7s using XVs rugby starting with the Simba XVs this Saturday against Germany.
Germany should be scared, very, very scared.

Kenya tightening all the loopholes to make sure they make it to the 2019 RWC. After touring South Africa, they now want to head to New Zealand.
The Simbas have made it clear that they only have three options (1) To make it to the Rugby world cup 2019, (2) To make it to the Rugby world cup 2019 and 3 to make it to the Rugby World Cup 2019.

oooh no, the greedy M.P's have passed the contentious betting, gaming and lotteries act.
Sportpesa should go to court and fight it with all their might. Trendsetta, I know you are a Journalist, what options do we have after the M.P's have passed the
contentious 50% taxation bill on gaming and lotteries act? From my brief history, I know it has to go through a 1st reading, 2nd reading, 3rd reading and A.Gs
chambers before it gets presidential assent. But, we need to talk to U.K directly, he is a rugby guy, he could refuse to assent to the bill.
