Yes. Any other outcome than a massacre among forwards will be hugely celebrated among Spanish fans. Between injuries and non selections, we're only fielding one first choice (López) in the first row and Santos seems to have increased the bet on mobility by putting even less weight in the pack for this game... It could turn very ugly if Georgia doesn't focus on changing their traditional game plan.

Other notes:
- I really hope Georgia isn't too disappointed about the location of the game, a 20,000-inhabitants village
- Let's see how the attendance finally is and if fans respond in spite of the current war between Valladolid clubs and FER. Unfortunately many teams from Valladolid (senior men and women, under age and veterans) have games that very same day in other cities
- Our hype about Jorba, Gimeno and Zabala, all U20 last season (Jorba & Gimeno still are) is almost impossible to describe
- 11 players are Spanish-born, more than usually, but the newly appointed captain is a French-born one: Gautier Gibouin. Anyway, a good role model since he's played for under-age teams and has been coming even when in a bad situation within his club
- After the first two games were ignored by Spanish public broadcaster and only shown on tape delay, Eurosport 2 will broadcast this game live for Spain

I`m surprised Haig decided to rest Koshadze and Gorgadze. Strong looking Georgian pack. Great to see Lobjanidze and Kacharava. Also, Soso Matishvili, who is one of the best backs in Didi10 will make his debut. Georgia`s games in Spain are always tricky. I hope boys are ready mentally and physically.

Matiashvili highlights

Good handling and aerial skills, good boot especially drop goals. Seems like a tough defender. Maybe not the fastest. Could be a fullback in the long term?

Anyway, solid Georgia team especially the locks. Size, physicality and fitness that few nations at this level can match.

A serious user from El Salvador forum says we've had two injuries in the last training session: Javier de Juan and Unai Lasa (what a horrible trend among first row players...). He explains two French guys have made the effort to come, Beñat Auzqui, who was expected to rest, and Lucas Guillaume, uncapped but who took part in Sant Cugat camp prior to REC.

OK, it's confirmed by Rugby Europe, so I'll edit first post. They will be on the bench.

The Rugby Europe feed is awful. Spain being surprisingly competitive given that it sounds like it isn't their first choice team.

Damn! Missed a Spanish try due to the feed cutting out. They are up 10-3!

Georgia is on the way to losing this game. One of the worst performances I can remember. Spain played really good. Haig made a huge mistake by not playing Gorgadze and Koshadze.

Nothing really. Georgia annihilates us in scrums but defense is working pretty well. We had two posessions on Georgian side of the pitch and we scored in one of them. It isn't a great game, but we've been luckier than against Russia or Romania.

Thank you. A very surprising half-time score of 10-3; and I say that as someone who has been talking up the Spanish after seeing their performances in November. The Spanish defence has been very good in the tournament, and I'm not sure the Georgians will get 20 points here. One more try for the Spanish in the second half could be enough. They do look a little fortunate not have had a yellow card for persistent fouling.

10-3. Kvirikashvili missed a kick and made a forward pass five meters from the line. But the game is still totally on Georgian side, as much as I understand Georgian fans may be frustrated.

10-10, but can't really blame Spain for nothing. Canosa almost break a few bones trying to save a try, we're gaining meters with a maul...

And just when Spain started to play better rugby, they go behind. Spain might still have a chance if their bench isn't very weak.

Spain continuing to play some good stuff in this second half. They get the points in the first half but have the performance in the second half.

We're going to lose, but Zabala, Gimeno and Ramos are making an incredible show.
