I start being slightly pissed off with comments (here, but on Facebook too) about how dirty Spain played today. Not exactly proud of two games with plenty of brawls like the ones against Uruguay and Germany this season and I will never deny our first row loves to go at war, but please, stop with the hypocrisy. Today I saw German players putting elbows in the neck of players on the ground when play was stopped, one of our centres was given a head kick in the neck during a ruck, once again our jumpers in lineouts were pushed in the air (it's becoming a tradition in every REC game), the second Germany try was 'celebrated' by giving a slap in the face to our number 9...

Well off course you always look closer on your opposition than on your own "specialists". The second try was celebrated by a Spanish player trying to "clean" off Ottos head. A guy they targeted all game (smart idea). The numer 9 was unlucky the cheeky flanker was already gone and he stoos in his position.

Maybe german commentators are over sensible as Belgium had played unbelievable dirty the week before. Marcel Coetzee said in an interview that he had never played against a more dirty side than Belgium.

I did see some foul plays, but I think the ref had it under control today. It is still rugby so nothing against a small brawl between friends ;-)
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Hey, I'm not defending what Spain did today, if we had been shown some cards here or against Romania in Bucharest, it would have been tough luck and nothing more. But I realise this is a contact sport and everybody always tries to make the most of it. And yeah, I saw German TV broadcast started showing images of a brawl against Belgium.

I think Spain will try themselves in Repechage Tournament against Uruguay? or somebody else. After play off matches vs Tonga, which can be used to prepare for Repechage.

It isn’t over till the last day. The plan always was to get 2 wins this year and we managed to to that. Only because we lost one game against the Iberians. Who wants them in a tournament anyway. :)

U must win vs Russia if u dont want to stay without RWC chance. Russia is playing very bad this year so it is possible.

Yeah of course nothing is over push for it this is sports everything happens.

This is funny Germany's goal was to stay in REC in 2016 and they did it, why am i waiting Germany to qualify for RWC this year?
You guys are progressing fast, thats why. I want to see Germany in RWC

As much as I want Spain to get back to the world cup I think it would do wonders if Germany could do it next year. They have to finish second and then play most likely Tonga to qualify directly, I think Romania, barring a complete collapse in the next 12 months, will once again make it.
