Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Germany will definitely play without Soteras-Merz and von Grumbkow who are probably still chipped and will both play in the World Sevens Series Qualifier in three weeks. Big question mark behind Sean Armstrong who limbed off during the Spain-game.
Hilsenbeck was released by his French club. Tussac not (small chance as Stade Francais might boycott the game against Tussac's Castres).

Pretty annoying as M.Lazar is retained by Castres as well. Castres vs SF i think it will be played eventually.

Just to keep the flavor of the day, I hope this will be something like Pz. IV vs T-34

Be careful what you wish for!
They can come again as it happened in 1914 and in 1940 ...

Every single game you ask the same question, every single game you get the same answer. ALL THE RUGBY EUROPE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES are broadcasted on rugbyeurope.tv
Sorry but this is slowly becoming annoying.
Back to topic: what's your guess on the result?

Germany scored a try early on. Good job.
This German team is progressing very fast as i said. Its only 2nd year in REC and they already managed to beat Romania and their quality is rising every week.

Very entertaining first 15 mins (although I missed the first try
). More line breaks in 15 mins than in the whole of the 6N yesterday. This match will be too close to call I think. Good to see Russia continuing some of their better play from last weekend after very poor performances in the first three rounds.

Russians just scored 12-7, 32 mins gone. Decent crowd in at Sochi.

In other news, Hell has just reported snow.
If Russia could cut down on handling errors (or at least make it to first tackle from own lineouts), we've a good platform to build on and the scrum is well on top. However, we're leaving ourselves open to the counterpunches which almost cost us against Belgium.
Let's see whether it's headless second-half v Romania Russia or fighting second-half v Georgia Russia who run out now...

Damn! I miss the first three minutes of both halves and miss two tries. Germany have mounted some good second half performances in this tournament against Romania and Spain. I don't think they are out of it unless Russia can get 15+ points ahead.

Re: REC Day 5 March 19th Russia - Germany
First yellow card was for a late tackle (a bit of a harsh decision I think). Second one for the fullback (Kushnarov?) was for a deliberate knock on (a correct decision). This is going down to the wire!
I don't know how the German fitness is so good when so many play for amateur clubs. Also, is it normal for the Russian fullback to play there? I always see him playing fly half.
