Arthur RETIERE, a very talented player is absent in French squad. Does anybody know why?

Hasn't he been picked for the main team? Or does it clash with Top 14 play offs? He plays a lot for La Rochelle.

I have not seen Australia, therefore it is hard to judge, however I do not think Wales is strong enough to defeat Aussies. Meanwhile looking forward to watching Rhys Carre who is very talented player.

I found out a situation with Arthur Retière. As you know this very talented player is absent in French U20 squad.
Today he plays for La Rochelle vs. Toulon.

WHAT A RUBBISH

http://www.worldrugby.org/tournament/1594/teams

AGE could be easily calculated from D.O.B
whereas POSITION is missing altogether

WR admin does NOT understand that those
TEAMS play RUGBY and not, say, BACKGAMMON

They were lucky to beat Fiji a few weeks ago and looked a bit disjointed. Wales are usually tough to beat at this level.

I'm not sure how South Africans and France will go. It's a lot of guesswork with these teams.

Going to be an interesting tournament.
New Zealand has failed to deliver in past few years. They got a good team this year even without Ioane and Perafeta.Backline is class. Look out for Caleb Clarke, son of former all black Eroni Clarke.and Will Jordon.at fullback.Forward pack needs to deliver though which has been there downfall previous cups.
Australia were underwhelming at the recently completed Oceania under 20 tournament, there team will be boosted by super rugby players, though i cant see them making it to semi finals.
Sth Africa The got class players like Bosch and Libbock always hard to tell as political interference seems to plague there team. I think they can still make the semis.
Argentina Delguy and Kremer are class and they have enough quality to push for a semi final spot.
Ireland They are plagued by injuries, although they always perform well at this level
Wales There forward pack was week apparently in 6 nations games. We will wait and see.
England. Final at a mimimum for me.good pack with Asplun Robinson running the backs.
Scotland Not expecting to much from them.Do enough to starve off relegation though.
Georgia. Home advantage positive. Discipline needs to improve.Always a good pack led by Tabidze.Might be a year to early for there crackerjack halves pairing of Aprasidze,Abzhandadze to show there full potential.
France. Always a lottery. There back 3 have speed to burn.huge potential.my darkhorse.
Italy Survival from relegation best can offer.
Samoa Ditto.

Scoob,
Thank you. Very interesting review (preview).
I believe the European teams don't have good chances for semi finals, except England. Agree France is a dark horse. Still not clear how good are SA and Australia. Expect a very good performance from Argentina.

Georgia is very unlucky to be in the group of death.

Looks to me like all pools are difficult. Which pool did you want to be in exactly?

In pool "B" instead of Italy. Scotland's scrum is not strong, i.e. there would be a chance to win.

Georgia is missing key players, like Gorgadze. But they do their best, and hopefully keep the place at the next U-20 tournament. Actually that's the goal, at least coaches's goal. But we, rest of Georgia hope to see at least one win in the group..

Yes, I think so. Last years tournament I watched it on English speaking Channel, I was streaming of course. But I don't remember which Channel it was..
I know one Georgian tv channel is going show all games, but I don't think you or anybody else, not Georgian speaking will understand it..
