WoW that was a beautiful attack by Espania

In our case it isn't. We're making the most of this uncapped game to play with youngsters.

It's all Spain since Argentina's try. Well deserved yellow for ill disciplined Argentinians...

Argentina committing so many fouls, referee stopped to sanction them...

No way Argentina should lead this game. Complete non-sense.

It's all out fault. We're awful at converting opportunities into points. It's absurd to spend 20 minutes on Argentina's 22 and still having 0 points.

It is necessary to return Ostrikov and Sergeev, also to invite Bookerou for rotation. In the clubs in 2 lines are legionaries or young Russians.

Do not worry if Russia has a chance to partikipate in the World Cup they will definetely come in to play.
But do we need such players as Sergeev and Bukery?

Well, I'm off for a beer, but my first thought after the earlier Vlad comments "that's not the first time a North American referee has thwarted a Nations Cup comeback by Russia against the hosts with what can at best be described as 'infringement guesswork'"!

Doubt we'd have lost if we'd played two hours earlier without the sun, two tries came as a direct result of it straight after HT, but you have to play with it. Not too disappointed in the result and 2 BPs given the team and additional late changes. Vas definitely didn't have his best game though, missed a tackle for the try and numerous knock-ons, plus sometimes his English is too good for native refs who get flustered and think he's playing them.

As for the locks. Sergeev isn't happening anytime soon. The promise to play against Romania and Georgia and subsequent "non" won't put him in Pervukhin's good books and the man does have precedent for holding a grudge... Ostrikov needs the rest, he'll be back - Diamond is understanding. Fedotko isn't far off, he's a good lineout operator and in open play, but lacks ballast. A Russian Chris Jones.

Right, it is pivo o'clock.

EDIT: Budychenko is the most promising player to come through since Simplikevich. Awesome to see him on the pitch

Russia lack of composure finally cost them an easy win... Both teams show so many weaknesses. No way Russia can qualify for RWC with such outing. Russians clearly lack uses of hard competition. They play like U20... No way Scotland would have waste this lead. The only possible conclusion was a Russian win by around 30. Their underachieved championship is costly.

I was working, so I couldn't see any of the match.

Halftime score: 8-24
Final score: 32-29
Now that's a recovery!

How the Nations Cup winner will be appointed? Is it again simply the team with more points? If so, why WR's standings are split in two groups if, after all, the champions will be the best between both groups? http://www.worldrugby.org/tournament/1769/standings

With 2 more teams it could be a simple knockout competition with 3 rounds anyway...

2016 - Spain v Argentina XV
Halftime score: 0-6
Final score: 8-44 (real score: 7-38)

2017 - Spain v Argentina XV
Halftime score: 0-10
Final score: 5-37

Do we really need to play Argentina in 2018 to know what the outcome will be? :D

Russia will take 1 place in the group with a very high probabilety. It is necessary to defeat Namibia. If Spain loses Uruguay, Russia too can lose.

1 Russia 7
2 Spain 4
3 Emerging Italy 0

Uruguay really needs a victory over Spain for 1 place, because Argentina should defeat Italy without problems!

1 Uruguay 9
2 Argentina XV 7
3 Namibia 6
