Sorry, wasn't meaning to sound arsey! In these conditions I'd have expected your first choice side to be losing by at least 6 points to the physically strong Georgians. I think you are doing okay given the circumstances, showing a lot of pluck.

Yes it's weird to evaluate this game, like obviously Canada haven't been routed and the defence has been there. O'Leary has been a pleasant presence.

Too many missed chances in the first half when Canada had the wind.

It's over, Beuks heading to the bin with a yellow.

Barring some sort of miracle intercept try Georgia are winning this.

If it's any consolation, the USA are currently losing 55-19 to a second string (but still very good) Ireland at home, which I think is more than you lost to them by in November. The US have looked very good in patches, but nothing that should terrify Canada.

Anscombe was really vocal about the conditioning of players and the failure to have the players have any game time at club level prior to international matches. I wonder if those points have been taken on board because you look fitter than during the Americas Rugby Championship.

Ooph, not sure he got that down?

Does that count as an "own try" on Mack LOL!

Well that ends this atrocity.

Hopefully the game against Romania is better next week.

Congrats to the Lelos.

O'Leary did fairly well ormond lad. His kicking from hand was solid.

Georgian won 13-0. Ugly game but a historic first victory for Georgia on Canadian soil. Happy with that.

Wow, what a shame that he is in that sort of situation, I see he is only 24 years old. If money wasn't vital there is always potentially Romania if he'd want a professional contract to keep himself in condition until another opportunity presented itself. Not sure if they'd be keen on him given he can never be "Romanian qualified" though. There are at least two UK players in that league and the standard is decent. I'd imagine being MotM in an international fixture wouldn't hurt your CV/resume.

I didn't watch the game, chose to Garden instead. When is RC going to start putting test matches in a proper stadium? As you say Rusty, welcome to Tier 3 rugby :D

At this rate I think I'll stick to watching the Wolfpack and other internationals. The Japan-Romania game I watched and it was great!

Replay is on RC facebook, go to the videos. Going to watch it later, but the weather made it trash.

When was the last time Canada were shut out? Against Scotland in 2008?

According to Beeman blog, it is the first time ever Canada got "nilled" against tier 2 opponent.

Did they really do it through a Cell Phone? When USAR did the women's test it was broadcast on Facebook Live with two cameras.

Canada 1-25 vs. Top 17 sides since November 2013, the only win coming in the 2015 RWC warm up game vs. Georgia! Yikes!

It was not rugby. Furthermore, playing under those weather conditions is extremely dangerous. I am not talking about wind, low temperature makes rugby very traumatic. We lost two players. Could be much more. That is why the game turned into kicking ping-pong. I am wondering if there are other "safe" places in Canada? Was is relevant to choose this place for the game?

These are pretty normal playing conditions in a British winter rugby season you know!
