It looks like NY Rugby Club has what may be it’s first Brazilian player. Someone from Urutu club is here in NYC for his masters and came out to training. I asked and he’s heard of Portal do Rugby!

Cool! Do you know his name?

Urutu Rugby Clube from São Paulo plays São Paulo's 2nd division. Nice guys.

But there was a former Brazilian national team player that played in US when called to play for the Tupis: Flávio Chuahy (Madison University).

The minutes of the last CBRu board meetings are up. Apparently, they have learned from their mistakes. If the Maori match sells well, they could end the year with a budget surplus > https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2151/ ... 6186907295

No idea. It wasn't informed. I'll try to find out. But I belive nobody. The Brazilian Rugby Union doesn't want Tupis playing abroad.

Final: Farrapos vs Poli, Oct 13th. We'll have a new champions. Poli or Farrapos never won the Brazilian Championship.

You can watch both semifinal (full matches) in https://www.facebook.com/BrasilRugby/

Serra Gaúcha promoted for the first time after beating San Diego at the Promotion/Relegation Repechage.

Other Repechages did not happen. Rio Branco vs Templários was called off as Rio Branco doesn't want to be promoted. BH vs Niterói also called off because BH withdrew for 2019. Charrua vs Joaca also cancelled by CBRu as Charrua was a quarter finalist.

Bento Gonçalves is a rich 100.000 people-city that has a strong regional identity and, but is not strong in football.... Farrapos RC tries to fill this gap.
