Poli 32-03 Niterói - Niterói relegated; Poli promoted for the first time in 23 years to the Brazilian top division. São Paulo state again with 5 clubs in Super 8.

Jacareí is the Brazilian men's national champions! First title ever in a major top division national competition for Jacarei.

But CBRu mess up with the tournament, blocking some key national team players to take part in a competition they were organizing and have chosen the dates... that explains São José's bad results, as they missed the Duque and Sancery brothers... many complains about all this from the clubs and they are right.

The Brazilan Rugby Union anounced a new referees director: the Uruguayan Gustavo Gerbasi.

Big result for Poli 21-19 over Pasteur
SPAC beat Band Saracens in São Paulo City derby, 23-22.
Also, São José 53-09 São Carlos and Jacareí 64-14 Rio Branco.

In Rio Grande do Sul Championship we had Porto Alegre's derby, San Diego 11-00 Charrua. Also we had the start of Pantanal Cup, with clubs from Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. Rio de Janeiro and Santa Catarina championship will start just on April. They confirmed their clubs last week:

Rio de Janeiro Championship (8 clubs): Niterói (Niterói), Guanabara (Rio de Janeiro), Rio Rugby (Rio de Janeiro), Itaguaí (Itaguaí), UFF (Niterói), Carioca (Rio de Janeiro), Maxambomba (Nova Iguaçu) and Friburgo (Nova Friburgo). They merged 1st and 2nd divisions...;

Santa Catarina Championship
(4 clubs): Desterro (Florianópolis), Joaca (Florianópolis), BC Rugby (Balneário Camboriú) and Chapecó (Chapecó, yes, the same city of Chapecoense football club);
