No more excuses from Simbas! They've been through a 10-day tour down south, had a test match at home & an away game. Any poor showing this coming Saturday will be a real let-down.

Let's see how it will go down, but one thing for sure is that Uganda will come at us hard.

It's official now. Kwese will be broadcasting from Saturday's match. I'm based in diaspora so if I don't get a link, then I'm doomed for the whole season!

Im not sure, but this seems like a breech of contract on the Union's part. They have a signed contract with Zuku sports for 2 years. I hope there will be no
lawsuits or court injunctions preventing Kwese from airing games in Nairobi after this.
That being said, I wholly support Kwese taking over in terms of broadcast capacity. Zuku sports have been a huge let down on their internet links which play in
slow - motion. But yet again, speaking to a few Zuku Sports employees, they say that this is direct sabotage from one of their competitors Safaricom, who
deliberately cut their cables. Either way, I said these are just allegations from Zuku. I don't want to be misquoted or sued on any of the above.

Hmm, I have noticed Uganda has sent a squad of 27 palyers. I thought WR regulations are that team sheets include 23 players? Anyway, I guess the other 4
are non - travelling reserves who have actually travelled.

I think its because they are flying out to Dakar, Senegal after the Nairobi game. Incase of injuries to the 23, they can be replaced and the injured go home.

I highly doubt that, and in any case Kampala is a stone throw away from Nairobi, they could always go back and book a flight from Entebbe.

You are correct Trendsetta. After the game against Kenya, the management will assess the players - both performance and injuries and then the 23 selected will connect to Senegal directly from Kenya while the remaining 4 players will travel back to Uganda. It is both cheaper and less exhausting for the players.

Uganda still leading and away from home? From the world rankings I take it this would be a big upset?

yup, they seem more focused from what I gathered so far. these two teams could do lot better with proper coaching, some nice skills there.

Loved that, the Ugandan coach's face was a picture. He was so nervous. Great kicking from the tee, loads of speed and some good offloading. Good atmosphere too.
How strong was this Kenyan team compared to the one that narrowly lost to Germany?
And are Uganda out of the running for RWC qualification?

No love lost in that match, I would say they are out as they lost last week?
