Is Semi Radradra still only available for Fiji due to his Sevens cap or has that Olympic loophole changed that?

Official streaming for Italy v Fiji is http://it.dplay.com/live/13654/2017-ita ... /?t=851489

but likely it's geoblocked

The pre-match interviewer has a broken nose because some days ago a mafious near Rome gave him a hit with the head, while he was making a report about crime infiltrations in local elections

Thanks so much for the link. Not geoblocked!

I read about that interviewer. Good for them to get right back into the action and not be intimidated.

Italy were a bit anxious in the second half about winning their first game of the year. Fiji completely failed to capitalise.

Fiji 18 errors to Italy's 8. Almost the same as what the score was. Very frustrating second half to watch from a Fijian perspective.

Disappointed because as you say Bruce, Fiji failed to capitalize. Italy were dominating in most parts of the game, but there were moments where Fiji could have taken it.

Tuisova's fumble over the try line, on Lomani's run that looked like he was going to score, ref said there was a knock on, I thought it should have gone to tmo because to my bias Fijian eyes it looked backwards haha. And Kunatani running behind his own player, Fiji were in a good position to attack there and that happened. Even though Fiji were down in territory and possession, the errors is what really cost Fiji, just a lot of silly errors that were really frustrating to watch.

To the good news is they did look dangerous at times with ball in hand and if they can cut out the errors they can be a threat. I hope some Mckee will name a strong team next week. Was hoping they'd get some good wins and move up to 8th on the rankings, idk if thats possible now.

should have been a penalty try and a yellow card for a trip in the Tuisova non-try incident in the first half

Ireland 23 Fiji 20

Good effort from Fiji in the second half, very different team from the first half. If only our lineout was better. That one lineout in the 77th minute was crucial. Probably just a matter of the team not being together long enough.

Whats up with Peceli Yato? He was bracketed with Kunatani on the bench but Kunatani ended up playing, is Yato injured? Wish they had Viliame Mata there as well, Ratuniyarawa looks a bit unfit.

Leone Nakarawa is being linked to the Dragons, according to WalesOnline. Apprently not happy at Racing 92. Would have dismissed it as a completely insane story a few weeks ago but we've had Ross Moriarty confirmed and apparently genuine bids for George North and Quade Cooper, and the article seems to suggest that a meeting has taken place and that Nakarawa is "keen".

Would be an absolutely awesome signing.

I've been weighing up my response to this rumour.

1) It's so bat shit insane that the journo must have a decent source or he wouldn't risk the ridicule he is getting already.
2) When Fin Russell signed for Racing he said it was Nakawara who convinced him to come
3) If he did want to leave France its unlikely that a Prem team would have the cap room to sign him, I mean for instance Tigers should be looking for a lock like him but unless we knew he was available I doubt we would have shuffled the cards to make the funds available in the cap. So that does limit his options to the Pro 12, and the Dragons are newly cashed up with the WRU seemingly willing to lose millions on making them competitive.
4) He signed a 3 year deal this season I thought.

So over all, I'm skeptical to the point of incredulousness at this rumour but there is just enough there that you can't rule it out.

Re: #3 although the WRU are the majority shareholders theres a chairman who is splashing his cash around. Supposedly there's no more cash for players than the other regions get. I don't think the wru would want to put so much money into individual non-welsh players, so it's not that. But even still, you'd think many other pro14 teams would be more attractive and he could pick pretty much any of them. So yes I'm skeptical.

If the rumors are true, it could have something to do with Nakarawa choosing to play for Fiji over the Autumn test season. Racing have paid Fijian players not to play for Fiji in the past.

I can't see the Dragons having any issue with him playing for his country.

I make that 8 Drua in the squad. 6 in the forwards, 2 in the backs (both halves). Positions Fiji struggle to fill with overseas based pros. Drua certainly fulfilling a role for them.

Peni Ravai probably the biggest absence?
