Solid team for Timisoara, it will be a close game few points for either side will decide this game.

Looks like a very solid team! Will be a tough match!

Suspensions are not anymore working in a temporal way?
I mean, I thought he should have observed the suspension in the three weeks after the match, not in the three game's days after the match

I like the fact that there are scottish referees, this enlarge a bit the ambit of the tournament. We have clubs from Portugal, Italy, Germany, Romania, Russia and Georgia, the final game is in Spain and most frequently the referees come from Scotland. So, eight nations are involved.
As far as now the referees came from Scotland (7), Georgia (4), Italy (2), Spain (2) and Romania (2). I don't know who is going to referee the match in Heidelberg, tomorrow

Thank you :!:

According to an italian newspaper article, bonus points will not be counted in these play-offs: qualification to the next step will be awarded on a mere points scored-points conceded base

LOGICAL, of course

To be more precise >> http://site.rugby.ge/ka-GE/2017-18-SHIELD/

0) no bonuses

1) aggregate score of two matches

2) if tied after second game >> extra time 2*10'

3) if still tied >> try count-back over 180 minutes = 80+80+20'

4) if still tied >> shootout: three players kicking from 6 positiions: from 22 and 40 metres

5) if still tied >> sudden-death shootout from 40m, straight (from in front of posts)

No way Batumi can win this round. They were heavily dominated in all second half. They are not 5th of Didi10 for nothing.

That's it, so Timisoara goes back to Romania with a +5 lead.

Poor Game. Bad advertising for T2 rugby by Both sides.I am expecting Timisoara to win next game by 10+ points on a dry pitch.

Pitch was in really bad shape, how many days did rain there to be in such condition? Not good advertising for Continental Shield. Stream was bad which is very unexpected, usually Georgian streams are fine.

Ref kept Batumi in match in first half and signaled a knock-on instead of an offside, that should have been penalty try.

I'm assuming the streaming problems are because the game was in Batumi and the weather was shit. Sports infrastructure not the best there.
