Interesting that the improvements in the Italian Pro14 sides are not being replicated in the Eccellenza ones. Viadana have the best chants but the worst side.

Timisoara should walk this if they find form. Are any of the other sides professional or semi-pro?

And good to see Bathumi making a splash on the Didi debut in this tournament. :p

I doubt that HRK is pro team. They were lacking shirts for players and substitutes were putting on worn shirts.

Well Batumi is Semi-Pro team thats for sure. Also is HRK. Only non Italian Pro team is Saracens from Romania.

Canalina wrote:With great elegance and fair-play the president of Petrarca Padova said, according to a newspaper: "these experiments with georgians, french or tongans (referees) are useless; whoever sent here these social impaired ("disadattati sociali", "social misfits") has to be ashamed. They are mysterious object collocated in the middle of the field. I'll write to someone about".
The Petrarca president also criticized the Shield: "just 500 people at the stadium, it's the sign that this cup has no beauty and no appeal"

There are lots of morons in Italian rugby administration. I guess the serious people go to other sports there.

Most of the rugby people are nice also here. I didn't know this Petrarca president, I don't know if this is his habitual behavior or if for some reason he has gone mad for an afternoon. Maybe they were private complaints, "stolen" by the journalist. Anyway, a club's president insulting the referee is a bad thing also if those insults are said in private

I suggest to the Forum to post in THIS thread about the COMP
instead of this one viewtopic.php?f=3&t=277
which has outdated HEADING

If possible (not sure), MOD can merge both into ONE --
keeping posts in chrono order
