Sunday I watched the first minutes of Locomotive Tbilisi v Academy Tbilisi, round 4 of Didi 10.
These are the images of the stands one minute before the beginning whistle, and it was a derby with two teams of the city! If this is the common crowd for Academy I don't doubt that they have no quite money for an european campaign

Those media reports are meant to pinch extra money for the club -- this is their style

As for 13/10 game vs Calvisano on the same ground -- both stands will be 100% full

It would be great.
It's a duel between the leader of the georgian championship and the leader of italian championship, so very interesting

Today the on line selling of the Locomotive Tbilisi v Calvisano match starts.
The ticket cost is 3 or 5 georgian GEL, id est (according to the exchange found on google) just 1 or 1.7 euros.
Or the Tbilisi club is keeping the prices very low to attract more people or the life cost in Georgia is much lower than in Italy: the entry price for a match of my city's club (Top 12, former Eccellenza) is 15 € !

How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

The whole tournament will be live shown by http://www.therugbychannel.it

I suppose they will use their own cameras for the matches in Italy and they will repurpose the streaming prepared by local media when the games are in Belgium and Georgia

Did Belgium have anything else in the Continental Shield before? The Barbarians would basically be their national team then, correct? I know you list the players right below but I have no idea who plays for Belgium.

It’s Belgium’s best domestic players, they are missing a significant France-based contingent. Sort of like the US teams in the ARC.

Ok cool, this is a good initiative then. The French players (should) get enough quality playing time so this should be a good time for the Belgians.

It looks like they're playing at this field, didn't know there was a Nelson Mandela Stadium in Belgium too.

Wow, that's lovely. Nelson Mandela the Pan - Africanist is recognised in Europe. Would love to see other African leaders like Thomas Sankara, Kwame Nkurumah and P.L.O Lumumba also getting that kind of recognition. :)

Yes it is supposed to be the best players in Belgium.
However, the champion ( Dendermonde) who has a couple of decent KIWI's and some good belgian players is not going to send any players.
Some players also refused the selection because of the lack of organisation around the competition.

It will be interesting to see how the guys will play together as they have not trained together yet.

updated LIVE GAME SHEET >> http://files.rugby.ge/oqmi/LUKA/2018_10 ... OK-CLV.htm

++

As ever, rugby managers played fools with rugby media | art designers

Calvisano's graphic shows

1) no captain
2) 4 and 5 swapped
3) 6 and 7 swapped
4) according to signed list, Pescetto starts at 12 instead of Mazza (new 22)

+) Fijian #8 is Vunisa, not Vunisia

End of first half, Locomotive v Calvisano 6-11

I'm not watching the game but every time I gave a look Calvisano was attacking. Already two yellow cards for Locomotive

Not absolutely sure but Rovigo should have scored 3 tries, Petrarca Padova 4

http://rugbyrovigodelta.it/media/news-e ... /?news=204

3-0
3-7 = 0/1
3-10
10-10 = 1/1
10-13

17-13 = 2/1
17-20 = 2/2
20-20
23-20
26-20
26-27 = 2/3
31-27 = 3/3
34-27 = 3/4

So, ROV got 2 pts whereas PTR 3pts = rarest, asymetric draw :!:
