Yeah, this was quite frustrating and add to that the sponsorship of Udinese football club few years ago. Also a frustrating fact, Allianz Romania is sending at least 50k / year to Bayern Munich.

Dacia is still their main sponsor.

There will be another game? Don't think so. I reckon it was the only game for the next 20 years worth mentioning between those two teams :D

Bogdan_DC wrote:@amz may refer to the fact that didn't look like this companies invest in rugby IN GERMANY with great effect.Of course except Capri Sun.

Dacia is French owned. But okay, we can count it as a Romanian company. So we know why the Lion's don't tour Bucharest. Because their cars drive rugby league players. 8-)

Do you have a source for that? This would be an absolute bargain. You won't even get a corporate box at Bayern for that price (100.000-240.000 Euro per year in 2010).
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

So Opel isn't anymore a German company because is owned by Ford?
Dacia was, is and will be a Romanian company and a Romanian trademark...even if is owned by Renault (there are still other shareholder mind). Source regarding Allianz ROU payments is an employee of Romanian company working at a highest level.

Technical true. But lets count that also as a German company

Allianz: so what do they pay those peanuts for? Nice trip to Munich every year? That's simply NOT sponsorship.

OMG is even worse now since is French owned company :D

Oh and ex CEO was something Indian and sponsored Romanian Cricket Federation as well  a money waste by ignorant foreigners. I have no idea what those money are for, I'll ask but if I recall corectly it is some sort of contribution they have to pay to club's budget; I do wonder myself why they're doing this, it's peanuts for the club. With 50k you can support an entire junior side here for the whole year.

Wild already sorted that trip to Paris out. Watch out them wearing white shirts next year.

But back to more important things.
50k is a lot of beer. And paying this amount to FC Bayern gets you just marginally closer to a beer tent or to a Lion's visit for that matter. Although we do have lions in Munich zoo.

It was a revelation even for me:
56-year-old ball-games (soccer EXCL) fanatic

They produce
4 different stat-reports PER game
and make it PUBLIC at ONCE :!:

SEE THIS >> http://handballgeo2017.com/schedule-2/

OVERALL (OMR) >> http://ihf.info/files/CompetitionData/1 ... f/9OMR.pdf
PLAY-BY-PLAY (PbP) >> http://ihf.info/files/CompetitionData/1 ... f/9PbP.pdf
... (MTR) >> http://ihf.info/files/CompetitionData/1 ... f/9MTR.pdf
... (FTR) >> http://ihf.info/files/CompetitionData/1 ... f/9FTR.pdf

:?: could NOT decipher WHAT latter two acronyms stand for -- R means REPORT

+ they provide LIVE streaming from EVERY game -- held simultaneously in adjacent halls
and store them >> http://handballgeo2017.com/finished-games/

 IHF is light miles ahead of WR :!:

To be fair Handball ist easier to track due to being an indoor sport. You know your cameras won't get wet, there is no problem with electricity and they use just two different halls for all the games. This safes a lot of money, because you just have to set everything up once for the whole tournament. And off course it helps that the biggest handball country loves good statistics. But yes they are indeed doing a great job.

But this is not only for the World championship. Have a look at this. German Beach Handball championship (yes that is apparently a thing). Statistics for every single game including scorers etc. (In Beach handball you get more points if you score a goal after making a pirouette) .

This is more or less a fun tourney with team named "The Otters' noses", but they achieve something we would never get from most 7s tourneys.

Denmark vs Egypt result corrected

http://handballgeo2017.com/2017/08/09/d ... corrected/

IHF Competition Management agreed that those match delegates involved in the incident will take no further part in the competition.

The IHF greatly appreciates the extraordinary sportsmanship of the Danish Handball Federation in accepting the correction of the result in the spirit of exemplary Fair Play.

All teams in the competition have been informed of the decision and the IHF would like to thank everyone involved for their co-operation.
