Decent stream, no complaints.
I support Portugal :)

LE:
Even better stream quality, I wonder why I cannot maximize the image, anybody else have this issue?

Maul seems to be unstoppable for Canadian teams... :|

With horrible weather, against the host and with a weaker squad than in European Championship it would take a miracle. Let's pray a bit for it, but it sounds hard.

NAM 24 - 11 CAN, about 65 min

Namibian forwards look noticeably more solid than oppo.

Yeah, I was looking at the team and I noticed some players from those who played in Bucharest missing, what happened?

Namibia's pack probably won them the match.

LE: Try by Canada, they're back in the game
Yellow for Canada following a high ball contest in the air and next phase a try by Namibia after repeated drives in opposition defense so 29 - 16 final result.

I noticed Namibian hooker, Nortje, excellent player. Namibia played no nonsense direct type of rugby.

About Canada's game, I saw the same frantical throwing of the ball to the backs, without any concern to create rucks and generally a platform by forwards to stretch the defense and get the space to attack with three quarters. It is a dangerous approach to train players in such way, it was like they avoided any breakdown or ruck, I don't think this aseptic type of rugby can bring anything good.

LOL, what a Portuguese try. Well, I don't even know whether he pushed the ball to the ground, but the referee gave it.

And second try for Portugal before halftime, this time with a forward pass, if I were from Uruguay I would go nuts

To be honest, Portugal is being really clever. They live in Uruguay side of the field thanks to nice kicks and lots of handling mistakes.

Yes, it was. But I think Portugal is playing better. Uruguay is strong in scrums and lineouts but after that they make lots of mistakes.

Could World Rugby have a worse website? Everything about it is awful. A 10 year old with a Wix could do better.

Penalty try for Uruguay and Portuguese #9 gets yellow carded, but somebody kicked his head on the floor and wasn't punished...

Non-converted try for Uruguay and 18-20 for Portugal with few minutes to go...

And Portugal wins it.

Oh boy. trailing by 2 points with few min. to go and Uruguay does nothing but continuously and voluntarily give possession away.

Chile is using full advantage of the "swimming pool" . I guess if they are to upset Japan, it is exactly the type of pitch they need.

Almost impossible to understand Uruguay kicking away possession. I suppose they were nervous.

Portugal played 20 minutes in the second half with 14 players and the Uruguayans had the "obligation" to win the game. Hearing the commentators(talking about this team as the favorites to the final win), I think they had too much pressure on them.

Portugal was lucky again, they got away with an away pass and Uruguay didn't helped themselves either; I do think many of those unprovoked mistakes were due to pressure of being the hosts of the tournament, I've seen it here too. About kicking away possession and such silly mistakes it is often encountered to this level.

Losing to Portugal is underwhelming, but hardly surprising. They are direct rivals.

The tournament cost about US$ 2 million, with a 50-50 split between World Rugby and the URU (which includes the national government, sponsors and own funds).

Some 6,000 public school students will attend the matches.
