The U.S. Women's National Team will play England's Red Roses on Nov. 9 at Allianz Park in London, USA Rugby announced today. Part of the Quilter Internationals 2018, the match will kick off at 2:45 PM ET and serve as the Women's Eagles' first road test of their Fall tour.

All three fall test matches were carefully planned to fit within USA Rugby's overall build of a challenging and consistent competition schedule for the Women's National Team. Facing two of their Women's Rugby World Cup 2017 opponents in No. 1 New Zealand and No. 2 England; along with a finale set against No. 8 Ireland, coaches and staff can measure player performances against some of the best in the world.

The full November schedule will also include an "A" level match featuring the Women's Selects and an opponent to be announced later.

I'm guessing London Irish, they have a game on the 7th Nov, then their next Champ game in Dec 28. They need a high intensity fixture for that period.

English Championship clubs will have a full month of useless Championship Cup in November - perfect time to play one of them

London Irish - difficult to arrange as they are at home on Nov 17
Ealing Trailfinders - other promotion contenders
Hartpury College - next door to Gloucester where Russia v Japan will take place, but their squad might not be deep

A big squad is going with a few new names, especially players that have Polish heritage. Some from Italy, Edinburgh Academicals in Scotland and most interesting is Auguy Slowik, the fullback/wing who played for Bristol and Worcester in the Premiership and currently for Jersey Reds in the Championship (English tier 2).

Connacht have a few underage players with Polish sounding names. With the amount of Poles in Ireland and Britain, there could be a nice supply of talent in the future once their kids have grown up.

In France as well. I believe Poland is one of the great potential markets together with Spain, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. Their attendances are pretty good and have a large diaspora to feed the team until it can produce its own players.

Ouch, great to see Russia getting a quality fixture, sad for Romania to keep waiting for their elusive T1 tests...

Coventry Rugby will host the full Canada senior squad on Monday, November 5 as the Cannucks prepare for their round of World Cup qualifying games against Kenya, Germany and Hong Kong later that month in Marseilles.

“Canada’s coach, Kingsley Jones said they needed a preparation game while we were speaking on another matter, and we jumped at the chance of playing them,” said director of rugby, Rowland Winter.

+ Wales. Chris Czekaj, who played for Wales a few times in the 2000s, would have been eligible for Poland, and I'm sure there are a few others in the regions or the premiership that would be eligible. Corey Domachowski, who plays Prop at the Blues, is the descendant of a Polish Holocaust Survivor (!) but I think it might be his great-grandfather and thus no longer eligible. If Poland got to the REC, and consequently got that little bit extra professionalism in terms of scouting, organisation, exiles programs etc, then there'd be many others I'm sure.
