It is a strong USA team. A lot stronger than the one Georgia beat in June. Going to be a tricky game for Georgia.

Why this two are subs: 20 Andrew Durutalo & 21 Tony Lamborn? Maybe to make some impact in the game but it could be to late. Anyway US has some strong runners will be a good game.

Not 100% sure why Quill is starting either of them at 7. I guess he is a much scrappier player in breakdowns which could be useful, although he is not a true jackaling 7.

We have 6 forwards on the bench. Both Manoa and Landry can play a full 80 and likely and both can be solid locks.

My prediction is Peterson will go off around 40 or 50 min, with Landry sliding into lock and Lamborn/Durutalo coming on. Quill probably burns himself out in the first 50 min with the other coming on. Not 100% sure of the plan, but it could create some good opportunity late in the test with 2 high quality jackaling & ball carrying back rows coming on.

The intent with the 6-2 split is to use the max effort from the starters and then have guys who are capable of providing lift in the match. This will be a max effort.

Interesting game because i think Georgia will try the same with some of their powersubs Zhvania, Nemsadze, Lomidze. Also interesting because i think US will target Georgian line out and Georgia will target US scrum.

USA doesnt stand a chance in scrums thats for sure.

But they have some dtrong names in 2 and 3 row. Good Flyhalf and Te'o.

Georgia has Mikautadze and Chkhaidze for lineouts, Bitsadze and Lomidze also can play in lineouts.

young Kveseladze and Modebadze must play well, Matiashvili and Kvirikashvili. Not a bad line but Flyhalf is a problem. I hope Aprasidze will come in 2nd half on N10. That will be very interesting considering he plays for Montpellier as N10.

If Matiashvili doesn't play we'll have a problem in kicking. I think Matiashvili should be the main kicker from the wing even if Meko and Rezi are 15/10

I would have liked to see Tabidze instead of Bekoshvili. Yes,9 and 10 with Lobjanidze and Aprasidze would be interesting to watch, although one will probably be subbed for another.

So is this match really happening in the evening with temps projected to be below 0c? That seems kinda crazy...

Usually around this time the temperature is around 10C-20C but it's been a cold November. It shouldn't be below 0 however around 3-4 degrees afaik.

Our scrums will will most likely be our biggest weakness unless the weather freezes the handling abilities. On your feed you will (or should) keep it in and shoot for a penalty EVERY TIME. On our feed we will feed it to the back and get it out quick as EVERY TIME. If our starting props get carded as happened in the summer match we will be super screwed. Our backup props have all of 4 caps between them and two of those caps came last week. Your backup props have more caps than our starters. It will almost be kind of a bummer is the match is totally decided by the potential (I remain hopeful...) front row inequalities.

If/when the ball gets to the backline hopefully we can show some leg and handling ability. It's fairly interesting when we can do those things.

I'm hoping for an exciting match and not a bogged down scrum penalty filled slog.

Yea me too.

Georgia has some young guns on the wings and centres abf young halfbacks so im waiting an open match with a lots of tries and let better team wins.

Excited to see how Aprasidze does in senior team.

Nice to see Manoa back. Seems like this match, will be tough.

Classic Eagles there, couldn't score with a two man advantage and conceded a try.

Aprasidze take his place fast, I think Lobhanidze pick up an injury early in the game. Somehow USA play better in 15 vs 15 than when they have superiority:).

Pretty frustrating finish...getting tired of close losses that show our potential.

US were able to move the ball reasonably well all match but just failed too many times making some silly mistakes.

Georgia wins a wild one 21-20. Happy with this win against a very strong USA team.
