England's control from half back was pretty poor. Concerning as Smith has been in England's proper squad for training.

France had three outstanding players though in Bamba, Woki and Joesph. In think Bamba and Woki are both with Brive? A year playing in D2 before either promotion or moving on would be great for them.

England never managed to get France under any pressure to see if they could take it. Shame, I still wonder about the wisdom of England taking Isiewke and T.Curry out of this age group. At least T.Curry is playing for the international side.

Brive signed quite a lot young players...
Together with Bamba and Woki they have Giorgadze in 3d line, Also Saghinadze and Lobzanidze.

Brive will get really strong in 2-3 years

I was gutted Japan lost. Not just for Japan's sake, but to see what would happen if a home nation got relegated. Probably WR would've suddenly reinstated it to a 16 team event :|

One of the best U20 Tournaments so far. Great crowds and great level of play. Quality stuff.

Actually the more I think about it, the better it gets. This French team hasn't played the 6 Nation teams in age-grade in a regular competition, as the Home Nations and Italy left the U18, when France won it and stayed like really rugby guys do.
Off course it could have gone either way, but that's at least the karma hunting England down, for their shameful decision in 2015.
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.
