Forgive me if I'm wrong, but weren't the Austin Huns pretty well supported? If so, where's the support for the Elite?

Yeah it’s bad branding. Seems to be French influenced (means the same in both languages).

Austin Elite Rugby sounds like a summer camp or an academy, at best. It doesn't even sound like a corny ripoff of a European team like some MLS team names.

There's one match in Austin that gets more than a few pigeons, Huns v. Blacks. There's a concerted effort from the amateur game to not support the pros in Austin by the fact that they stay home.

It's also important to note that it was snowing in Austin, and like San Diego and rain...Austin and Snow don't mix.
