Pretty happy with Spain win 17-0 over Portugal, just weeks after losing to them. It was clear that in two teams with very similar level Portugal has the edge because they had played a couple more training games.

It also tastes good after two years in a row losing to France in quarterfinals.

Kicking has been a problem for all teams all tournament long.

I watched the last 15 mins of Spain vs Portugal and actually Portugal had 3 or 4 kickable penalties they didnt kick. the last spanish point was a fast break; Portugal missed some last passes, but overall were pretty good with the ball. Don't know about Spain, because they didn't have it at all.

Half time : Georgia 5-3 France
I expected France to be more dangerous, rain does not help them though
Georgia is strong in defence, and it will be very hard for France to overpass the tryline; only France's number8 is gaining metres
Georgia missed 8 kickable points, the score could have been wider

This U18 isn't nearly as talented as last two or three ones, but they defend well and are good in counterattack. At least there is a recognisable gameplan from U18 to seniors.

Congrats. What a nailbiter. The blocked kick after 80 mins. If thiscwould have been a try by France... that's the stuff rugby nightmares are made from.
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Rain was on Georgia's side today, but amazing physicality from them. France was never going to breach that wall. Deserved victory.

Bravo Georgia.

We are champions of Europe U18.

Can not understand why European Championship is less prestigious than Festival.

Any argument that France brought "B" team should be considered as stupid and senseless.

P.S. 8 FRANCE - GEORGIA 3 that is what Rugby Europe site fixed. They claim to be the solid organization.

Why? There is no shame about it. There's nothing wrong about talking openly about it. And if anybody puts it as an excuse, just remind the progression:
- 2015: France 57-0 Georgia
- 2016: France 42-0 Georgia
- 2017: France 36-18 Georgia
- 2018: France B 3-8 Georgia

You end up undermining your own performance by not accepting things as they are. Georgia was recovering ground at a fast pace and France decided to send their B team, failing. It's great.

Men even if we played 200 minutes the French just weren’t going to break that wall.
Verry well played, the better team won thats the most important.
France B or E is not the point here guys they might have a poule of 100.000 18 y.o they can pick..

I agree with Armchair Fan. Even France B team is a formidable force at this level. It doesn't make Georgia victory any less. Georgia are U18 champions and it is freakin awesome.

It makes France's behavior shameful (Nothing saying about other six nations' countries).
Again why European Championship is less important than 6N's festival?

Congrats boys! I saw that coming because the rain nullified any speed or technical advantage for France (they didn’t looked too skilled anyway). Good on you, continuously progressing year by year.

It would only make it shameful if they refuse to participate next year. So far I dont blame them for wanting to play 6N teams when they have an opportunity. I blame the others for running away with tails between their legs.

I don't say we should refuse to play there. However it would be relevant send to that festival the "B" team. The main tournament in Europe is the its championship, therefore we need to focus on winning the continental title.

P.S. By the way why they did not invite us this year? The reason is simple. They do not wish to watch how Georgia defeats e.g. Ireland or Scotland.

It‘s a fucking honor not to be invited. They fear our boys and they showed today why. The fucking elitist idiots can play between themselves but they know Georgia would beat the living hell out of some of the teams.
With regard to France B, it is only their fault. Our boys can only play who is in front of them. They did and they won, without any doubt they were clearly better and even left some points out.

Our main focus has to be to beat Italy in November. This has to be done, the senior team has to win. They owe it to the young lads who train every day and dream of playing in the 6N more than the fans. Many fans come and go and watch Russia games and maybe other big games. They owe it to this boys and the little under age boys who love the sport and must breake the elitist cartel in first instance for the generations that come.
