Wow great move for Ardron. I wonder hope much influence the new coach had in that decision. Would be great if he could open a couple of more doors for some tight forwards!

In spite of what Rugby Canada said a few weeks ago, it seems Russia is heading again to Hong Kong Cup of Nations next November. Have any of you heard anything about what European rival would play Canada instead? It should be between Germany and Spain.

The interview in the Russian thread says it's the youth squad going to the cup of Nations

If I read that Q&A correctly, Russia will send a young team to the HK tournament instead of playing November tests vs Canada etc. Seems they want to keep their full squad healthy for 2017-18 EPRC and REC.

I've seen this image on twitter in the last days, even if I don't know if it's new or from some archive.
A doubt: what those squares upon the crossbar are for? Are they just to make the H-door more solid or have they a purpose?

Impressive new prop in Canadian rugby: Griz Lee. Those bars are helping players to escape fast:).

^ Ontario Blues' roster for this weekend's game vs Glendale. It also mentions in there that the game will be live streamed on YouTube, which is nice.

I'm assuming DSD and Howard are just in the wrong spots there?

I've been watching the Wolfpack play Barrow. Another solid crowd of 5,000+. Certainly better than watching the national team play in a corn field.

The BC Bears are playing Canada Maple Leafs this upcoming Saturday in a last chance to impress domestic showcase. We'll probably get a list next week after our coaching staff takes in the match.

Anyone go to the game in Burlington on the weekend? How was the turnout?

I hoped to go to both that and the Wolfpack game, because I thought the Blues game started at 1pm... but that was just when the gates opened, and kickoff wasn't until 3. Why were the gates open so early?
