Tier 2/3 Transfers and Player Movements 2018-19

Postby Figaro » Mon, 09 Apr 2018, 11:09

Couldn't find the old thread so thought I'd make a new one.

Some T2/3 movement at the Welsh regions.
- Kieron Fonotia (Samoa) is moving from the Ospreys to the Scarlets.
- Dmitri Arhip (Moldova) is leaving the Ospreys with a big money move to Montpellier rumoured.
- Lesley Klim (Namibia) has signed for the Ospreys from Doncaster Knights in the English Championship. I think he may become the first Namibian to play pro rugby in Wales.

Wasn't Heino Senekal at Cardiff Blues in the early days of the professional Celtic League?

The Ospreys are replacing the departing Arhip with another Moldovan.

Henry Stowers in now a T2 player - as he has gone the Samoa route and played for Samoa A in the Pacific Challenge.
https://www.worldrugby.org/news/320126?lang=en

He has signed for Western Force.

Don't know the Force's schedule, and whether that means he no longer plays for BoP in the NPC.

Stowers was a cause of Brendan Gallagher's knickers getting stuck right up his crack a few years ago for the crime of being youg, ambitious and being dual eligable.
