Interesting Sth africa beat Scotland 41-3 in a warm up game, not sure the strength of the Scottish team, but the Georgians did a little better than that.

The correct name is World Rugby Under 20 Championship. And there is a second division called World Rugby Under 20 Trophy. "World Cup" doesn't exist.

My mistake for subject heading.
All the teams and squads are on the world rugby website.
Georgia has a few under 18 players in there team. But it looks really good.
Aprasidze and Abzhandadze are going to be very influential to see if they can beat Ireland in pool play.Couple of props from French clubs there as well. Good to see Marjanishvili back he got some real pace and looking forward to seeing him play. The halfback Alania is a bit of a surprise as he was not first choice in there under 18 team but i liked the look of him,he reminds me of another Aprasidze with great footwork and pace.
There depth might be tested a little if injuries start occuring, but players like Papidze,Gogichashvili,Saghinadze,Marchaladze,Aprasidze,Abzhandadze were brilliant last year and if they can mould the team around them, then they could surprise a few teams.

I expected to see: brothers Narimanidze (both of them can play as wingers and fullbacks), Peranidze ( can play #9 and#10). Doubt that Alania is ready to play on such level.

Is Dzagnidze winger for under 20 team related to Georgian player that played for Georgia and maybe also U.S.S.R or Soviet union, before countries seperated?

By the way, the 2018 World Rugby U20 Trophy will be apparently held in Romania from August 24 to September 10.

U20 World Cup starts tomorrow and we still keep silence. Strange. Is not it?
There are only two t2 representatives at this WC - Georgia and Japan. May be that is the reason why we are not very active.
It is interesting that U20 teams taking part in WC 2018 represent the most highly ranked rugby nations of our planet, Fiji excluded.
Hopefully we will draw a big attention to all developments.
I am going to attend the last week of the tournament (June 12 and 17). If some of you plan to be there, we can meet and have a pint of bear.

Lavanini Jr on the bench for Argies. I saw the guy when he was 18 years and he was a giant. How it looks now?

Well, although if you have been following the evolution of Tomás Lavanini, you can see that under the leadership of Mario Ledesma his level of indiscipline has dropped to almost disappear. So, they need good coaches.

Ledesma was also a nasty guy on the field and probably it helps to understand the ill disciplined ones :)).
On a serious note i agree, Ledesma is making wonders with Jaguares and one of them is their discipline (but it is still room for better). Scrummaging under his reign is again where it should be for an Argentinian team.I wait to carry this form in Pumas 4N campaign this year.

As far as we have here Argentinian mate, I would like to ask him what kind of team is U20 Argentina. Are they stronger or weaker than e.g. two years ago?
