geoblocked in Canada? Great. So is TSN going to be picking it up? Perhaps they will live stream the qualifiers.

They are showing Canada vs Kenya on TSN1 and TSN3 at 3:50AM Pacific/6:50AM Eastern. On November 18th they have Canada vs Germany at 06:50AM Pacific/09:50AM Eastern on TSN1 and TSN3. I assume it will be the same for the Hong Kong game. From what I saw they are only showing the Canada games on TV. Maybe the other ones will be on TSNGo?

TSN will show the Canada matches.

Once I saw that it was geo blocked I thought TSN would be picking up the streams, now that they are showing it, that's a bonus!

Canada will win for sure, it's clear as day Kenya are just making up the numbers for this tournament. It expect Canada to win by 30 points. The other game is too hard to call for me. I'm betting it will be less than a try that decides the game. I'm also torn on which country I'd prefer to qualify. Canada has been a part of RWC since day one and the tournament would be missing something with their absence. I don't want them absent, but RC have got no-one to blame but themselves for being in this position. Kenya would be a great addition and no doubt garner a lot of support from rugby fans but they're just not ready to take the next step. Hong Kong has a strong history in the game and so even though qualification would be good for the entire Asian region given the cup is in Japan them missing out I don't think will affect things too much, but it would place them well to challenge for 2023. Germany however, if they were to somehow qualify, would be massive for the sport. It wouldn't solve all of their internal issues, but to have them play both the All Blacks and Springboks would probably elevate the game there to record levels.

I wouldn't count on Canada to do anything at this point. Kenya would have to be pretty terrible for this to be a given.

Being a Kenyan despite being the outsiders, I hope they do well

Otherwise would love to see Germany qualify - I support Germany in all other sports.

Fingers crossed. :D

Trust me, Kenya are pretty terrible,  I don't even know why the coach wasted the 7s guys time, they would be training for the Dubai 7s, coz it looks like we will field a pretty rookie team against Fiji and Scotland. Anyway, let's just be optimistic and hope things go well.

Paris is out injured. Fuck!
Parfrey is out injured. Thank god!
DTH has a minor knock from turf burn. Dear god.

Ciulini and Campbell out in forwards, oh well that's okay they aren't starters.

Would Hassler accept an emergency call up?

Do you have any sources for the injuries?
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Canada will bag a cool 30+ points with the level of disorganisation and the coaches deliberately sabotaging the team.
I honestly want the Simbas boys to play well, but with stupid coaches like Ian snook and Murray Roulston, we can only do so much. I don't even understand how coleman were makes starting hooker, yet he can't even throw a ball. Anyway, all the best to the Simbas and may the best team ( Canada) win. :x

No other options at 10 assuming that O'Leary is either out injured or doesn't want to play. I'd rather roll the dice with McRorie at 10 than Parfrey.

It seems like in the backs Kingsley went with guys that he's been coaching in Victoria (McRorie, Blevins, Fraser) over better players that are playing elsewhere in O'Leary, Hearn, Trainor and even in picking Sauder to play 15 rather than the superior 15 in Evans (15 requires more time in training than 11 IMO).

Remains to be seen if picking inferior players that know the gameplan is better than picking superior players that are playing catch up. I understand as a coach why he would go with the former.

If Kenya truly do suck and the game is a gimme then it makes sense to play the guys that have been practicing and give the others time to play catch up in practice. At least that's my optimistic interpretation of the situation. But you shouldn't muck around too much given the stakes.

That yellow card to Heaton seemed to have woke Canada up. First 10 minutes were back and forth but Kenya missing that penalty seemed to be the turning point.
