I had to make a quick amendment, I removed the T1 Option as I will keep to regions.

Just to help following the poll, Pichot + Beaumont = 50% always. So, just double the % to know the real number.

Voted Pichot and Europe.

Not a fan of many of Pichot's aims, and Beaumont has proven to be very ineffective so from a pure self interest POV probably should have gone for Beaumont even though dislike him more.

I like Pichot's aim to get rid of the frankly discriminatory system were England get three votes and Fiji get one. I don't like the "World League" as proposed, only a very few versions I've seen on here are even passable but I trust the vested interests to keep killing that even if it is for the wrong reasons. Breaking it down I think the crux is NZ and Aus, assuming he has the T2 vote in the bag of course.

Voted Beaumont, from Europe

What's APAC? A third candidate? "Asia-Pacific"?

Yes, APAC - Asia Pacific Region.

This in effect a straw poll of the forum members, I am aware the regions add to the % but will fix that when the Vote is finished.

Just for curiosity, why do you purpose an option APAC separated from Asia and Oceania's ones?

I actually followed my work's setup as it was the easiest option (for me). We have different variations as I work in systems in keeping the internet running for the banks and we divided that region in 3.

yeah I can see now after some coffee it looks confusing but I will fix it on the spreadsheet. Any changes I make, will loose the existing votes.

nb. If you don't put your region I will assume is Europe or Oceania Voters

Pichot (Latin America)

Hate his World League proposal and his Twitter rants but he understands that rugby needs to move into the 21st century. There are enough old school people running the game to keep him from possibly going too far.

Anyway, no matter who wins, as far as I remember this is the first time we see a real dispute for the WR chair. This means whoever wins will have to negociate with the losing side in the near future. And this is good. Or at least should...

Beaumont is the traditional english posh rugbyman.

If we must have a british guy I would prefer a welsh guy where rugby is not a sport praticed in the public schools.

Pichot seems to think to his buisness but, on the other side, Laporte is not better for that ...

Pichot will enrich himself, but in doing so will grow the global game. Beaumont is the safe hands choice. Laporte sums up the meaning of "never trust the French".

Pichot is shady, Argentina biased, and Nations league obsessed, but represents a compelling roll of the die.

I can see Pichot making changes and shaking things up. Although I wasn´t a fan of the "Nations League", but I don´t se Beaumont bringing anything new, nor expanding the game globally.

4 days left, some people have expressed support for Beaumont but not showing in votes. is Pichot going to runaway with this vote or will there be a late rally from the incumbent??
