Havelock and Kandy are leading the Sri Lanka's championship ex aequo, 62 points each team, when just two rounds are missing. I think that there are no play-off, so the next weekend's match, Havelock v Kandy, will be basically a final for the title. It should be live on line
Today both the team have won but Havelock didn't catch the bonus point http://www.thepapare.com/dialogrugby/fixtures/

Just in the middle of its worst time in modern era, Syria is going to launch its first national rugby XV championship. Three teams competing (all from Damascus I think) from early march to may

antlat wrote:Macao has played 3 international matches,

31.10.2004 Macao vs Pakistan 55 - 0 Hong Kong City, HKG
22.05.2005 Macao vs Cambodia 46 - 7 Hong Kong City, HKG
15.06.2006 Indonesia vs Macao 10 - 17 Jakarta, INA

All three matches are friendlies. The match in 2004 against Pakistan was a friendly played at the Asian Championships. It was not part of the official championships.

In both the 2006 and 2007 Asian Nations Series tournaments, Macao was to play Qatar and one other nation (cant remember right now) in Division 7 however in both years, all three nations withdrew.

13.06.2008 Indonesia 17-17 Macau in Jakarta

Asia rugby, says the 2006 match was 22-10 to Macau.

Also, I have seen 55-3 for the Macau v Pakistan result on the old IRB site - http://web.archive.org/web/200411070444 ... /Fixtures/. Macau definitely won that game. The Macau link above from 2008 mentions that Macau were still undefeated.

Both Indonesia matches are mentioned as Indonesia Barbarians v Macau.

Misleading title here, as it goes on to describe a 17-17 draw.

http://www.rugbyinternational.net/news- ... 006-07.htm

Seems only the first 2 matches were internationals (Macau v Pakistan and Macau v Cambodia) - other 2 were not against Indonesia national team.
