Which article also states that Guam have another match on the 12th against Philippines (not certain if national team or a "select"), which makes a busy 4 days!

It's a Philippine Residents team they're playing on 12th.

In the match today, it's Brunei 0-42 Guam after only 30 minutes, so I think Brunei's chances of winning this tournament are dead already.

EDIT: The final score might be Brunei 12-66 Guam, but macoocoo live scoring is a mess as usual.

Score updates from Asia Rugby not making much sense, went from 24 - 54 to 12 - 61 but it does look like Brunei have scored 3 tries? Unless one try by Joseva LAUVANUA was posted twice in error...

And looks like a Guam try was posted twice too at the end so I'd go with 12 - 66 as the final score for now...

Yeah - how hard can it be? Not the first time they have messed the scoring up. They obviously don't know how to use the app properly yet, or perhaps the app they are using is crap.

EDIT: Score just went from 12-66 to 12-86 and 12-91 after another Guam try was posted twice in error. I give up...

The same try by Neil James has actually been posted 6 times now, and its value has been 5, 5, -5, 0, 20, 5 points respectively.

Maybe it's another Worldrugby trial and if a try meets certain criteria it can be awarded a random number of times as vote by the spectators...

EDIT - well they have settled on 12 - 66 after all.

Last score update via Asia Rugby was

Guam (population 162 000) 45
China (population 1.4 billion) 12

That was 2nd half 39m 10s so with no updates for a while we will assume that is the final score ( subject to the usual disclaimers ).

Full-time: Guam 52-12 China.

Just as well you put those disclaimers in :-)

I may be slow to learn, but I'm starting to catch on ;)

Since there are three divisions it would require some format of play-offs to determine one overall winner but I can't see anything quickly to suggest this.

Well, with Division I with 2 teams and Division II with 3 teams I believe they can promote 2 teams from Division II to I and there will be 3 spots left for promotion from Division III to II.

Well:

Guam have won the Asia Rugby Championship Division III East after thrashing China, 52-12, in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Chris Sgro led the way for the US Territory with four tries on Thursday afternoon at the Belapan Stadium.

The 'Flying Proas' thumped hosts Brunei 66-12 in their opening match on Tuesday to assure themselves the title, despite their two opponents still having a game in hand.
There is no promotion/relegation on offer this year but head coach Tony Penn, a former Hurricanes and Taranaki representative in New Zealand, said it was still a valuable expeirence.

"It's all about getting promoted to a higher division so next year's a real focus for us," he said.

Looks like Hong Kong had a very early red card, after just 11 minutes of the game. The live commentary is a mess again though, all out of time order...first South Korea led 5 - 0 then Hong Kong led 3 - 0 and then South Korea again 7 - 3 ahead!

Hong Kong won, of course we aren't given confirmation of the final score as usual. I'm not even going to bother with the last known score this time...in a few hour no doubt they'll deign to give the actual result.

Full-time! Despite an impressive second 40 minutes from @KoreaRugbyUnion, @HongKongRugby hold on to maintain their 100% record in #ARC2018 and take the lead in @rugbyworldcup qualification

Meanwhile, China were leading Brunei 32 - 18 in the second half.

From a quick look a wikipedia, this is the first time since 2009 that Kyrgyzstan has played; Glad to see them back. However, it looks like originally, it was to be Uzbekistan in their place; One step forward, one step back.

There's quite a long Q&A article about the Mongolia team here: http://ekhsurvalj.mn/news/view/5708

It's in Mongolian but google translate does a fair attempt at putting it in English.

A first test for Kyrgyzstan - so their Asian 5 Nations Regional matches in 2009 against Mongolia and Uzbekistan, and their 2008 matches at home to Iran and Uzbekistan must have been imagined then, or do these not count because of "not having World Rugby membership" at that time?

2008 was ages ago. You can't expect anyone remember those ancient times, can you?
