No, it is for the Russian hockey, maybe there will be other ice sports. In Krasnoyarsk have an indoor football arena, there is possible to carry out some rugby training in winter or children's rugby tournaments. But it is not suitable for professional rugby games.

Seen this video before. And ever since I asked myself ghe same question: why don't they play rugby there?

What's the problem with it?
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

I think the main reason - it is traumatic for rugby. Even when play football, some players are forbidden to play on such a surface. And for heavy and especially rugby scrum - it will be very bad.

Isn't it the regular 3G artificial pitch on which even pro rugby is played? I mean, this is a pro soccer league, right?
And money can't really be the problem there.

I know some bandy stadiums are also used to football, which mean I believe it is possible to make the conversion. What would be sad and unbelievable is that Krasnoyarsk builds a bright new indoor bandy stadium with no adaptation for rugby...

At Saracens or Worcester special grass rugby field under a soft pillow. And like indoor arenas covering laid on the concrete. This is a parody, not rugby.
Krasny Yar has a rugby stadium with natural grass. Enisei plans this year to begin construction of its stadium, most likely there will be a good artificial lawn. This will play international matches in October and April in Krasnoyarsk. It is also able to deal with children, in the Enisei large network of schools for children in the region.

Well,I hope these solutions will enable both Siberian clubs to play at home in the Challenge Cup. That is my concern.

Some of the best attacking European club games I've watched have been played on 4G artificial surfaces. Newcastle and Cardiff Blues use it too.

You can't imagine how relieved I am not to see Simplikevich in the squad. I wish him a speedy recovery after February 11 :D

Are there any other players missing who may have been expected to be there?

Zykov our right prop. Selskiy first line.

Prop Morozov from the Yenisei is not.

I bet that the Challenge Cup qualification Yenisei will play against Krasnuy Yar.

Sports principle in European rugby absent altogether.

I do not know, but maybe Ostrikov and Sergeev just patriots of their foreign clubs, not patriots of the Motherland? Interestingly, after the match Spain - Russia, which played 3 Spanish Player from Montauban, and Sergeev at the time played for Montauban in PROD2. Immediately after that, he received a new contract with Montauban until 2020.
