If they are Russian then they them selves will find opporttnity to play for Russia. And if not then they can go in ass.
Nobody will persude them. I call emigrants from Russia shit who are no good for anything.
Everyone who wanted to play for Russia, including Nikita Bekov from France, them selves got in touch.

I know how you think, but in this case it's Russia looking for talent to strengthen its national team. The reality of international rugby is that most Tier 2 eligible players would be more successful if they sticked to their professional clubs.

I think that first of all need to invest in your own league. If someone wants to play for Russia then this should only be welcomed.
Сannot rely too much on this.

Australian Adam Barnes and current Russian national team coach Alexander Voitov. Both played in 2011 in New Zealand.
Adam himself offered his services, no one was looking for him.

Unless my Russian knowledge fails me, Vasily Artemiev has been invited to the main Russian TV late night show:

Interview will probably be uploaded to their YouTube channel:

For the rugby fans, he did not say anything new. This is a show for ordinary viewers who have never heard of rugby. But millions of Russians are watching it.
But earlier there was another interview on the main sports channel of Russia in prime time. So they talked about the Japanese path, about the possible creation of a franchise in a strong league like that of Argentina and Italy, about naturalization, about the World Cup in Russia.

I find it amusing how they put Borjomi bottles on their table at every Supreme Council meeting. Does not look like a simple co-incidence. Image

For comparison: same building, same table during a FAS event, very different bottles.

By the way, today i learned that UEFA is breeding teams of Russia and Georgia, Ukraine and Kosovo in all tournaments for security purposes.
In rugby this is not done.
