I've kinda a feeling that Didi10 is improving fastly. The game level seems better, the same for the crowds. Am I wrong? Does the general people gives to the league at least 10% of the attention that they spend to the national side?

What about the rising of the interest in rugby around the country? Considering the great Batumi and Aia Kutaisi performances, it seems the game is on the rise also outside Tbilisi

I like the new jerseys. At least its not blue red or white like most of the world cup teams.I always thought Georgians run faster in maroon than in grey. :D
I think maroon is traditional color of Georgia as it is in Venezuela and the muppet running that place.

Most people seem to have liked it. it was a commemorative retro style jersey marking 100 years since Georgia declared its independence. it was produced just for this game. I think it was very tastefully done.

Only 2k?! This is ridiculous for a player of his value...
And that retro jersey looks really nice.

I can`t recognize the brand on the pics. Indeed - the old-school style jerseys are really cool.
Is it some local firm actually?

Does anyone have any Info as to why Lomidze and Bitsadze are out? Bitsadze especially is a reliable 8, something Georgia seems to be lacking since Gorgodze stopped playing.
I'm assuming that Nariashvili (& Kubriashvili too i guess) are being rested.

Btw. will the game also be shown on Rugby TV in Georgia?

Georgia U20 nominate their best team available against Ireland U20. Should be a cracking game tonight. Last year Baby Lelos were really unlucky to loose against Ireland. It would be a historic first win in the pool phase for Georgia and could earn them a better position than ever. This is also important with regard to the coming year to not get into another crazy group like this year with SA (one of the three favourites), France (host nation) and Ireland. Look at the Italy group where except of England it is a very weak group. Italy and Argentina (both beaten already by Baby Lelos) and a very weak Scotland side who were last in this years U20 Six Nations. For the sake of the coming generations it would be great if we could win today and position us better for the coming years.

Lomidze had a lack of form for about 10 years now. Bitsadze is quite disappointing, he is a really strong player and different to Lomidze who is all show and no hard work around the park, Bitsadzes physicality and work rate in attack and defence always impressed me. Not a good thing to hear.

Bitsadze had a serious injury and did not play a single game since January.
Hope he will come back stronger

Lomidze is disapointing since 2 years IMO

Another disapointing backrow is Kolelishvili, he really not played a great season for Clermont

Koleishvili case it is disappointing especially because of his qualities. He really got the profile to be a world class fetcher. His power is legendary in Clermont camp but also his indiscipline. The injuries didn't help his case also.He can still bounce back, he is only 29 years.

I think Vito will be fine, he's never disappointed for the national team. In fact he usually stands out from the pack.

It's impressive that he's still playing. I wonder how many players are still active from 2003 world cup.

I see that their U20 team is beating Ireland's at the moment. Markedly improved from last year as if the close match vs. South Africa isn't enough.
