nope, signing pro players doesnt mean whole club is pro.

Batumi is semi Pro team, they dont even have physical coach. and Whole team suffers a lot in 2nd half.

Georgian clubs desperately need some financial support to get some descent coaching and management.

Lelo's fresh captain, Merab Sharikadze:

"Uncommon thing happened last year. We left our cup in Romania.

I will tell you my personal thought about it, and i am sure all of the team thinks the same:
We are not going to make same mistakes under any circumstances.
We are waiting Romania match with all we'v got to take this cup.

We have other matches before Romania but our objective is to put the cup on uts common place." (for at least 10 years :D)

Romania must prove their strength in Tbilisi. last time they got trashed 38-9 on Dinamo Arena. They did gathered all the best players available for REC. and The final will be HUGE!

Romanians fans are still mad about that game. Not about the score board but about the selection, devaluation of the shirt and the competition. One thing i must reckon Georgia never did that even when they are already qualified for RWC. Kudos for them.
I hope both teams have the best lineups, it should be a hell of a game.

Surely more interesting than every game Italy has played in the 6N for the last 10 years and will play for the next 20 years. Hope there will be some foreign press and it will get the publicity and attendance it deserves.

C'mon man, Italy has had some really entertaining games over the years. Idk why we have to make them butt of every joke. Italy isn't the one barring us from entering 6N

Sichinava, Tsiklauri and Begadze are in team sheets for the game Akademia-Locomotive so I guess they will not face Belgium saturday. Mamukashvili isn't listed so he will probably play against Belgium.

How Aptisauri play for Locomotive? He will start flyhalf tomorrow but wasn't called up by Haig since 2016, after being the first choice on his wing last RWC.
BTW thanks to the teamsheet, we can see that U20 centre/wing Saba Svimonishvili is back from South Africa and Sharks Academy; and will start #11 tomorrow for Academia

Early on Aptsiauri was seen as a young talent and was given a chance. He was serviceable with good defense and a lot of strength compared to other wings but he never really developed from there, he was not that good in attack and generally lacked the skillset to be a national level wing. probably all other wings(Sichinava, svanidze, Pruidze, Matiashvili, Todua, Mchedlidze, modebadze) are rated higher. Although he's still quality when it comes to Didi10 or Challenge qualifier level rugby.

Does anyone know the team line ups for the under 16 final Lelo and khvalmi last November.
Was a terrific and very skillful final played between two committed and passionate teams. Great crowd support as well. Know wonder Milton Haig is smiling about the Georgian youth rugby system
There was 2 fullbacks playing with number 15 on there back for Khvalmi which made for interesting viewing.

She praises rugby and talks how it suits Georgians. She's been to New Zealand and people were asking her about Georgian team over there. Basically she is big fan.
