Congrats to GEO rugby fans on your first Super rugby player. Unfortunately looks like he picked an ankle injury after just a few minutes on the field. Hopefully he'll be ok for game v Rebels next weekend.

I must forewarn Jamie & Tony :D After the ambush they pulled off in Tbilisi in Nov 16 I'm sure Haig would love to repay the compliment in June ;) Any GEO fans planning on going to the land of the rising sun in June? Along with Jaba playing for the Sunwolves (and I'm sure he will bring back lots of intel for Haig - I'm sure that's why GEO are happy to have him in Sunwolves team), this is great for GEO one year out from the RWC giving the players the experience of being and playing in Japan before the main event. GEO should do what Italy are doing and spend more time there with extra games v local sides to simulate RWC experience. Game against Sunwolves during the Super rugby rest period and their non test players would've been cool.

Matiashvili,Koshadze, Sutiashvili back in the squad. Pruidze is out for some reason. Very strong training squad except the injured players. Basically it is a final at this stage. Have to prepare well for Spain.

GRzu has another sponsor, beer company ICY. They will ne sponsors until 2019.

Looks like lots of Georgian companies want to advertise their product through Lelos.

Have not seen the game but he have good stats with 15 runs, 38m run ball in hand, 1 clean break, 4 defenders beaten, no penalty conceded and no missed tackle

He played the whole second half against Stade Francais at number 8. Looks like a positional shift.

Seems like a competition between TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia. Clearly GRU and national team became very desired marketing platform for the biggest businesses in Georgia.

I heared that Tedo Abjandadze quit Terenure College U20 team and returned in Georgia. If this is true, I think that's right decision. He was main fly–half of AIA (leader of Georgian championship) and to play U20 team maybe was good for his English, but was waste of time as a rugby player.

Pls, note, it is Aia - word with three vowels

and not an acronym, AIA (( say Amateur Indigenous Academy ))

Mchedlidze scored a try for Agen against Montpelleir today playing as right wing. Any talk of him not being in shape is ridiculous at this point. I want to see him next week against Russia, or someone from GRU need to come out and level why he is not being invited to a national team lately. Kubriashvili returned for Montpelier today after long injury spell. I would like to see him in Georgian jersey as well in the next couple of games.

I don’t agree on mchedlidze he has been out for so long, we should give him the time to reclaim his position at thr wing for Agen. That is far more important than calling him up for the NT for principles. And because some are still angry about the Jgenti affaire. We should call him up for the summer tests wich are far more important ATM.

As for the NT Haig said before the start of the tournement that the focus is on the RWC and not on individual matches. So lets give the man some credit and wait for the RWC i’m 100% sure Haig won’t disepoint us.

My wishes for RWC.

- Beat Uruguay with bonus point
- Beat Fiji whatever it takes!
- Smash Wales with everything we got and hope for a luck!
- Demolish Australian scrum!

If true, it would be great for Khatuashvili and Georgian rugby. I was impressed with his performance against Argentina last June and few other times he played for national team.

Tamaz Mchedlidze scored another try for Agen. He played N14 at last.

David Kubriashvili is back from injury and he played for Montpellier.

That's interesting. Nothing as yet in Japanese press or on Rich freeman's twitter. I see Bregvadze didn't make it onto the 27 man roster for going to RSA. Injury must be bit more serious than I thought. Sunwolves need a good hooker. Sakate was not bad coming on last Saturday but Horie is a shadow of the player he was 3 -4 years ago.

Bregvadze is Georgia's fist choice Hooker, former Toulouse player.

Most reluable hooker Georgia has today. He eill definitely be in Lrlos squad for 2019

Khatiashvili is a powerful prop. His physique reminds that of Zirakashvili's. He is built like a tank. I am truly surprised that he hadn't had more opportunities to play for the national team. He was quiet good in the games that Ive seen him play.

Again, if this is confirmed, it would be great.

We should have given him all those caps that we wasted on Bekoshvili. I still don't understand what was that about.

My feelings exactly. I hope we'll see him play more for Georgia.
