I've updated English Wikipedia to the accurate Aia, hopefully this will peculate through generally rugby usage.

FLIDTA RISXVA. I'm whatever you want me to be. I like NHL, but not as much as rugby. As far as disagreements go, I hope they get solved. Although I don't think we have any now. We both agree on several correct ways to use the three letter word. Who do you favor in the final? I think AIA Kutaisi will edge LOKOMOTIVI Tbilisi.

No thanks. Clancy is just fine. :D He may mess things up in the final and Georgian club will still win. In all seriousness though, even if he is not a fan favorite, it is nice to see that such a well known ref was appointed for the game.

Well known idiot ref!

Lokomotivi defeated Aia 29-10 to become Didi10 Champions. Congrats to them. I hope they manage to participate in Continental Shield. I wish Aia would do the same because they have a very good team as well.

Question: how professional is Didi10? Are all players payed?

I know this probably has been discussed but, I am sorry, I honestly don't remember the answer.

Of course they are payed. I dont know what people think about Didi 10 but we have at least 4 teams who are able to win continental shield.

Lokomotive is waiting for financial aid to compete if they will not get it than any team from Didi 10 can get this chance

OK, seriously. Batumi was OK for a first experience in Continental Shield. But I really thought what you saw on field this season would put end to Georgian cockiness.

Can a Georgian team be competitive in Continental Shield? Absolutely. Can a Georgian team reach Challenge Cup? Maybe. Can you really say without laughing that top 4 Didi 10 teams would win the competition when they even need to beg for financial help to take part in it? Seriously? Come on...

Man, I am not questioning the level of the top clubs.

I want to know if 100% of the players of ALL clubs that play Didi 10 are full professionals. I am sure the top clubs have a high level. I want to know if we can consider the LEAGUE as a semi-pro league (mixing full pro clubs with amateurs or semi-pro players) or a full pro league.

It's amazing how much the quality is improving from year to year. The youth systems are a huge boost. Aia has a bright future, one of the youngest teams in the league and already made it to the final.

Loko are cold blooded beasts though and finally champions again. Always happy when they win.

victorsra Yep, it's fully professional, If a team can't pay the players they'll get replaced.

Is there any kind of information on how much they are paid?

If Loko is able to keep their players , they would be among contenders for CS. They are better than RC Batumi and have lot of players with national team experience. They would improve upon Batumi good first showing.

Georgian railways must provide everything necessary for Continental shield. Locomotivi Tbilisi is their club.

But if not, Than Aia Kutaisi will get this chance.

Aia won 2 games vs Locomotive and lost 1 before this final.

Aia is only team who has lots of 2000 born players one of them Nika Tsivtsivadze scored a try yesterday.

Locomotivi was better team yesterday and they won it.
Aia’s fly half was Davit Gobejishvili 2000th born player who is real hope together with Tedo Abzhandadze 1999th born, also from Aia.

If Locomotivi advances to CS, they will be favorites to win it. Its a serious team, much better than Batumi.

Aia were favorites going into the game but I guess mix of being a very young team and accumulated injuries was too much to handle Loko in the final.

There's a big contrast between the play-styles. Aia plays open and dynamic southern style rugby whereas Loko is Traditional Georgian scrumming side.

On the game day Loko completely shut down the oppositon in every area. They Obviously studied Aias weaknesses and prepared for a single flawless games. Aia tried to play similarly to their previous games but it just didn't work.

I guess this old heads in the picture helps a lot with their experience to shut down Aia. Good lesson for Aia also this game, if they are a young team they could learn a lot. Just make them hungrier.

I feel like it not only helped but was in fact the deciding factor in the finals, Loko's experienced players led by Lelos veterans make a very tough team, they never break and always batter every team for 80 minutes. It should make next years internationals very interesting if they maintain the national team players. Loko is Definitely head and shoulders above Batumi
