Thanks for the google translate tips :) I had tried but got unrecognisable names (no lelos etc..) which is why I asked. I will check again and see what is on where before heading out. Cheers!

beber Jaiani was very good on U20 JRWC. He will progress fast if he will move to France where Georgian players are much more respected.

We will see new 2nd row player from last year's U18, who is showing some real talent.

I mean Vladimer Chachanidze N5... 2001 born

FLIDTA RISXVA must know other info about him. I just watched him carefully during 2018 U18 European championship and liked him.

Hi is good in lineouts, Good tackler, really powerful, 199 or 200 cm 100 kg.

Just found, he is a member of Kochebi Bolnisi, who are playing in Georgia's 2nd division. But they won Didi 10 in 2008. Now in serious financial crisis.

EASY ...

By minibus

from Didube hub to Gori
1 hour 15 min = 5 Lari (departs every 15 min)

then from Gori hub to Tchala Rugby Ground
10 min = 0.50 Lari

If you are lucky, Georgian Taxi driver will take you there in 50 mins.

Huge highway, 80km from Tbilisi

I am driving there for 35-40 minutes.

Odd signing, if you ask me. Georgia has plenty of ex forwards that have played at a very high level, why not hire some of them, instead of an Englishman who can't speak their language and will probably only be in the country for short periods of time?

That Aussie guy was total disaster.

I hope he will use Heorgian forwards properly. "November is comming" we desperately need good coaching to beat Italy

An Aussie teaching Georgians how to scrum...doesn't sound right.
Your problem in November will be that long injury list.

Just saw the news. Very pleased with this. Graham Rowntree has wealth of experience at a very high level and seems like a very demanding and technical coach who puts a lot emphasis on small detail. I think he'll be a good match for Georgian forwards.

Not sure what i made of a recent youtube rugby game between Khvalmi and Eagles age grade game.158-0.I guess when the next round stats when the big guns of Aia Lelo Khvalmi and Bulls meet up ww will get a better perspective.Tell you one thing some big tall lock forwards in Khvalmi team.Might mean good news for Georgia national team in a few years,a position the lelos have struggled with depth.

Some local Didi10 players staring after the Day4.

3 players made 3 times the "Didi10 team of the week" from rugbyxv.ge :
1997-born lock Tornike Akubardia (Armazi) is one of them. Considering the lack of depth at this position, he can be one to watch. He also made Georgia XV squad for the last Rugby Summer Cup.
Like Akubardia, Dachi Kopadze (backrow, Locomotive) also made a strong start of the season.
His teammate, veteran Giorgi Shkinin (winger, 38 caps) is the third player to make 3 times the "Team of the week". The past season Top try scorer shows that he is younger then ever.

5 players made 2 times "Didi10 team of the week" if 4 Days :
2 forwards : Goga Khuroshvili (hooker, Armazi) and Giorgi Kartvelishvili (tighthead prop, Locomotive)
3 backs : Revaz Jinchvelashvili (flyhalf, Armazi), Revaz Jinjikhadze (centre, Lelo) and Lasha Gurgenidze (fullback, Vepkhvebi). The last one is particulary impressive considering that he is born 2001.

In other news, Javakhia is back from injury and started at lock for Aurillac espoirs against Toulon. His teammates Saghinadze and Karkadze on the bench, Tsutskiridze with pros and Gogoladze not on the gamesheet. As for Toulon, Chelidze on the bench while Alkhazashvili missed the squad

Do not worry we have outstanding young talents, likes of Tamaz Mchedlidze and Lasha Malaguradze, also young Kveseladze.

I wish this match was back in 2016 when Georgia was in excellent shape.

But still we will have better team on RWC. If we will beat Italy in November it will be catastrophic for 6N organizers. Because Georgia is in bad condition. I think Italy will gather most of their 1st choices while Lelos have long list if injuries.
