I normally don't like such a window, but given you are supposed to have a new head coach by then it looks like a decent opportunity for him to learn everything about his squad and work with it.

I’m also not too concerned about playing against South Africa A considering the fact that they just won the World Cup. They will obviously be busy focusing on the rugby championship at that time so I wonder how many, if any, from the main 23 will be available.

Just looking ahead to the Georgian games with Romania Spain etc. There are a couple backs currently injured Modebadze and Sharikadze.
I guess they will look to see how Georgia XV perform in Argentina in January. Tabutsadze has been carving up the trys for Lelo club and is a good option. Sichinava has been used in the past. Irakli Svanidze hasnt really kicked on from his junior days where he carved up the opposition.
Sharikadze replacement? I dont really know, maybe someone like Demur Tapladze who is the best of have seen for distribution, reads the game well, and has a good turn off pace for a big fella. Hope someone from Georgia XV can prove me wrong. A centre combination of Kvesiladze and Mtchedlidze is possible, but i think they need to find a bit more distribution skills than Mtchedlidze. Kvesiladze has time to prove his worth.

With the European championship squad announcement coming up it'll be interesting to see who's in it.
Will the new coach go for an experienced "a" team to get the wins. Or play youngsters and look more to the Didi 10 guys? How many XV guys will be involved?
Personally I hope that there is a focus to build for the next WC! Depth needs to be built and there short at lock, flyhalf and the back three.
Hopefully Koiava gets a call up and I'd like to see maybe a Gachechiladze, Bitsadze or Saghinadze move to lock.
Flyhalf looks thin, assuming Tedo stays in France, Khmaladze and Malaghuradze won't make the next WC so I don't know why they'd be picked (though maybe Malaghuradze at centre to help a young 10) so hopefully Modzghvrishvili and Jinchvelashvili get a go, especially Jinchvelashvili to be around for some time to build. Can Urjukashvili play 10? Maybe Lomidze can...
Back three surely Sitchinava, Koshadze should be back, but really need to bring in the u20 talent that we have, Kavtaradze is a big fast powerful unit, perfect for the test arena, alsoLashkhi and Dzagnidze. Meskhi is another carving up Russia who should be rewarded.

both scrumhalves Aprasidze (Montpellier) and Lobzhanidze (Brive) faced each other this saturday in Top14.
That's was the 5th Top14 game for Lobzhanidze (+ 3 Challenge Cup games) and the third Top14 game in a row for Aprasidze

Montpellier won 29-26, Nariashvili, Mikautadze and Chilachava all played for Montpellier; Giorgadze and Asieshvili played for Brive. Karkadze and Abzhandadze made the travel as reserves.

Another good news for Georgian rugby is hooker Badri Alkhazashvili playing again for Lyon at Agen. Lyon won 13-12 and Giorgi Tetrashvili played for Agen

Wales has a Tier 2 opening the first week of November but you are facing France in that date.

England: New Zealand, Argentina, Tier 2
France: Georgia, Australia, South Africa
Ireland: Australia, South Africa, Japan
Scotland: Argentina, Japan, New Zealand
Italy: South Africa, Tier 2 (Uruguay), Australia
Wales: Tier 2 (Fiji), New Zealand, Argentina

My completely uninformed opinion is that they will be using mostly Didi 10 players. There are a few reasons I say this -

1. The World Cup just took place. Not only will Georgia be looking for players for 2023 but French clubs will also be much more desperate for the Six Nations cover. Offering 1 year with their players may make them more willing to release players in future years.

2. Georgia will play 2 matches against the Jaguares with only Didi players. If you’re going to give them an experience like this then it makes sense to continue their progress with the REC tournament taking place only a few weeks later.

3. The new Currie Cup team will need players and they’ll obviously be Didi players. This can help Georgia figure out which players to send.

Georgia XV squad to play against Jaguares.
Hoped to see a bit more experienced squad to face a Super Rugby team. Many internationals from Didi10 as Matiashvili, Mamukashvili, Kveseladze, Tkhilaishvili, Khmaladze, Modebadze, Dzneladze or Todua are not called up, not a single RWC player to face an almost argentinian full international squad.
I also think that without so many georgians moving to Russia, the squad would have been a bit stronger names like Meskhi, Sukhashvili, Machaladze, Spanderashvili, Gachechiladze, Pruidze, Brodzeli, Khatiashvili and more
Will see if Georgia XV that will play Currie Cup will be more experienced...

Here is the travelling team to Argentina

Georgia XV

Surprised Anton Peikrishvili is unattached. Did a stint at Ulster & Cardiff Blues, thought a ProD2 club at least would have picked him up. He’s still only 32 years old.

Interesting to see Sandro Mamamtavrishvili playing as a centre..
It's a move I like, since we're got so much talent (young talent) at flanker. I'd also like to see one or two flanks move to lock (with IMO lock a position lacking in depth).
Also would love to see Beka Mamrikishvili capped this European championship!!

Started the season for Agen as RWC cover but did not convinced the staff... He was released after 3 games

I also noticed that. Interesting to see how he will do. I remember not so long ago Khidesheli moved from hooker to centre but without many succes. Mamamtavrishvili looks to be a smarter move, I remember when he played for Georgia U20; decent pace and strong defender and, as you said, there are many promising talents in the backrow.

As for Mamrikishvili, I don't really watch Didi10 but the good comeback of Alkhazashvili combined to Karkadze's breakthrough doesn't offer many spots at hooker

Mikheil Meskhi (1937-1991) was a Georgian Garrincha

This Enisei-STM (ex ARMIA) lad is just Davit Meskhi

but winger Otar Lashkhi of GEO U20 is
indeed Mikheil Meskhi's grand son :!:

Just wondering what sort of team Georgia will put up in there upcoming games against Romania and co.
Rumour has it they will not be playing there world cup french contingent.
Number players injured also including Gogichashvili,Modebadze,Sharikadze,Tabutsadze.
Retired players Kacharava,Nemsadze,
Veterans like Malughuradze,Dzagnidze maybe had there day.

So i am picking
Props Melikidze,Tabitdze,Aseishvili.Azariashvili
Hookers. Mamukhashvili,Karkadze
locks Jaiani,Cheishvili,Babunashvili
loosies Jalaghonia,Sutiashvili,Lomidze,Iashigashvili,Gachechiladze
halfback Aprasidze,
first five Abzhandadze,Modzebrishvili
centres Kvesiladze,Koshadze,Tapladze,
back 3 Matiashvili,Meskhi,Sichinava,Kokhadze,Babunashvili

Something like that as a rough guess. I like the look of youngsters Tapladze and Kokhadze.

Lyon have only 2 hookers fit currently,so cant see Alkhazashvili playing.
