North American & Caribbean Rugby (NACRA)
Re: North American & Caribbean Rugby (NACRA)
From São Paulo (biggest airport in Brazil) you can fly directly to Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Mendoza (Argentina), Asunción (Paraguay), Montevideo (Uruguay), Santiago (Chile), Lima (Peru), La Paz, Santa Cruz (Bolivia) and Bogota (Colombia), but there are no flights to Caracas (Venezuela) or Quito (Ecuador). Thereare no flghts to other Colombian or Peruvian cities (remember Chapecoense, they went to Medellin flying from Chapeco to São Paulo, São Paulo to Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz to Medellin).
From São Paulo to Central America the only flight is Copa Airlines to Panama. To the Caribbean there is Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Aruba (both expensive). To North American there is Mexico City, Toronto and several US cities (NY, LA, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Orlando, Houston, Washington, Atlanta, Detroit).
But this is São Paulo.
Asuncion I have cheked has flights just Buenos Aires, Córdoba, São Paulo, Rio, Montevideo, Santiago, Santa Cruz and Lima.
You need to regionalize.

I have this map from NACRA championship 2013 https://s17.postimg.org/r3tnejrjj/nacra_2013.png
We have gained Dominican Republic but we have lost Jamaica, BVI, St.Lucia and St.Vincent & the Grenadines

The updated map. In red the eight teams competing for the Cup, in orange the three teams playing in second division

Some doubts about next saturday's fixtures
RAN had Barbados v Curacao, as probable play-off to compete in the RAN Cup
Dominican Republic fb page has the "2nda Copa Dominico-Curazalena", that should mean Dominican Rep. v Curacao

Re: North American & Caribbean Rugby (NACRA)
Guyana news also says Barbados v Guyana on 13 May at Garrison, reported on Barbados Rugby Facebook page also - so seems Curaçao are out and Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados will play the South Zone Championship.
RAN calendar has Bermuda-Cayman and USA South-Bermuda both on 3rd June...
On 1st July, they also have 2 matches:
Winner North Zone v Winner South Zone
and
Losing Finalist v Runner-up North or South
Not sure what this is meant to be.

Thanks mcruic, I didn't see it last year.
It's often unfortunately the case when the only known origin is a facebook page.
An other mistake last year in the Caribbean games was the game between Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana on June 2016, 18th.
The real score was 18-22 and not 18-23 as written on facebook and even on WR site (but corrected a month later).
Guyana scored 3 tries, 2 conversions and 1 penalty, namely 22 points.

Re: North American & Caribbean Rugby (NACRA)
Mcruic there was something about this tournament that relegated the Dominican Republic v Curacao match as a non test. If I recall, and a translation of the first article indicates same, that these teams played two games, one on the Friday and the second on the Sunday. I have only recorded the Turks and Caicos Islands v Curacao match as an official test match. I can't recall the reasons why they were not recognized (i.e. length of the match, number of intervals, number of players each team, number of replacements or even nationality of referee). The article translated does indicate that the tournament had the official endorsement of NACRA so perhaps there is something I missed. I would want to see any official match reports of both games.
and..thanks sibret for the info about the game 18 June 2016. I had it incorrectly on my lists

I don't think this game has surfaced but under the circumstances this would not be an official test match unless there is other evidence to the contrary. A number of home players helped out the numbers of the visitors.
Yes I did now see the result posted earlier.

This year's final result is 31-7 for the Dominican Republic. At least you may see that score at the end of the video posted by Mcruic. Nice muddy field

As far as I recall, there were rolling subs and uncontested scrums. And I think there was only one match (29 April). It was reported as the début of Dominican Republic by Dominican Republic news at the time. The 36-12 result was also said to have been on the "second day" of the Dominicana-Curazoleña tournament.

Barbados v Guyana is finished.
There was not a single update on either Twitter or Facebook during the match - hopefully the result will surface soon.
Bermuda v Mexico - 7-33 at half-time according to Bermuda Rugby, 7-34 according to Mexico Rugby...
How hard is it to count scores?
Mexico Rugby seems to be correct - agrees with the stadium announcer.
EDIT: Now Bermuda 7-45 Mexico, 65 minutes.
