Wellington has just been swapped for Hamilton this year. Pretty sure it’s locked in for at least one more year.

I'd be shocked if it stayed at this point. WR would ditch it for a Spanish leg in an instant.

What do we think more generally about where the legs are going to be next year?

I reckon that they may expand once again to 11 stops, either that or a team numbers may be expanded.

Octoberfest will be the first event of the season, Dubai, Sydney, Cape Town, London, Paris, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Hong Kong are going nowhere. Wellington is at risk, but likely to keep it due to politics. Singapore will surely be culled, but I can't see WR being emotional and choosing Suva over Oktoberfest or elsewhere.

WR may expand the SWS to 20, seeing as it is relatively low cost (just £2.6m/yr atm for the entire SWS), with 5 team groups and the 5ths having their own finals.

The events are clustered regionally now, so if Singapore loses a leg it will have to go somewhere in Asia.

If the reports are true regarding the apparent turnout this past weekend. Malaysia might be a good shout. I'd like to see the series expanded to 12 stops.

This saturday and sunday there's the Euro Championship 7s U18. Sixteen nations involved, with Eng, Wal, Sco playing as Great Britain because at stake there's also a spot (just one) in the Youth Olympic Games.
This is the historic sheet of the competition (boys on the left, girls on the right) with in blue the Italy's placements, even if they don't interest you...

Wouldn't it be wiser to put the money of a Clubs 7s competiton (that few will care about) into the Continental Shield?

Where is this year's Men's conference 1 being held?
It's schedulled for 24-25.6. but no venue is posted.
I know Bulgaria had three year organization, but they won the tournament last year and qualified for the Trophy.

National federations should be responsible for club competitions, not World Rugby.

Euro 7s U18: the trophy has been forged by a lithuanian rugbyman. In the second photo the sculpture is with the teams' captains, even if there are just 15 of them: the missing one seems the Great Britain captain

The Team GB squad actually is a GB selection for this unlike the girls where Team GB was entirely an England squad

Team GB U18 squad for Youth Olympic Games Qualifiers, Panevezys, Lithuania:

Blake Boyland (England), Max Cunnington (Wales), Tom Curtis (England), Josh Hodge (England), Jay Jones (Wales), Tony Lamerton (Wales), Rufus McLean (Scotland), Will Montgomery (England), Tom Roebuck (England), Toby Smith (England), Joe Wallace (England), Femi Sofolarin (Scotland).

7s U18 Six Nations confirmed for 2019 :D
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.
