Zimbabwe putting together a decent squad. Even if they don’t win the Gold Cup I would say that not many teams would like to face them in the recephage

The addition of the Stander brothers and possibly Eli Snyman in the 2nd row will give the Sables a very good scrum.

In all honesty it would be great if another African country could qualify, and I am not so sure about our chances this year in the Gold Cup.

Zim's scrum does look strong indeed, think the Zim and Nam game will be big. I do think Kenya will end in 2nd place though, not so sure as to how the Zim squad will blend.

Namibia have also named a 44 man squad for their Gold cup ambitions http://ragahouse.com/news/item/namibia- ... a-gold-cup
while Kenya Simbas went to the British Army miltary base to train. All the best to all the teams, and may the best man win.

Who's in the Kenyan team? Are a lot of the Sevens players in the squad?

Keese will take care of that, they are doing what Kwese has been doing all along for Rugby in Africa  That is double work, what Kwese does is a brilliant job in covering rugby on the continent.

Where is Tafadza Tchitokwindo? He is one of the fastest wingers I know in the Zim squad.

Chitokwindo is his name and I have no idea. He played for his German team Pforzheim at the last league game in May. So I doubt he's injured.
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Chitokwindo, or MaRubber as he is know by the rugby fraternity here, was not selected by PDV. It has caused some consternation ans Marubber is considered one of the best but apparently he did not fit into PDVs tactics. He prefers bigger. more physical players on his wing.

Honestly speaking, I don't think that is reason enough to axe chitokwindo, I remember when the Simbas played against Zim, he was a constant thorn in the Simbas flesh, anyway, I hope PDV knows what he is doing.

With the Gold Cup almost finished and the trophy being almost narrowed down to Namibia and Kenya for 1st and 2nd place, I just can´t seem to understand what happened to Zimbabwe... I might have been blinded by big names but I went over the thread again and still dot get it, I wasn´t the only one that gave them a chance at going for the title. Where did it go wrong? Specially knowing THIS was the Qualification year...
