Nop.

15 years ago that might've been the case but today Rugby is getting really popular even in casuals. It's "trendy" to know about and support Georgian Rugby team. No doubt Russia adds to the attendance but we get huge crowds year round. Only reason why we get low crowds for some ENC games is because we host on small stadiums and sometimes in smaller towns.
Otherwise the game against Belgium in freezing wind and rain would get at least 15K+ easily.

As for the November tests and Romania games we get pretty darn big crowds.

You don't understand the qualification mode. Now there are 3 teams with 2 wins and one loss in the qualification contest. Germany is among them.

The game in Russia will show where we are heading to. You can be optimistic about that game or not. But our name won't be wiped of the board until 2018.

Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

The qualification mode has nothing to do with it ! We reached the maximum of sucess with the amateur/sempro System we have in the FRG , We have a overhyped Team which is only competetive one ore two games per saison when all the top 23 are on board . If not ,like against the Spaniards They running around clueless and with no dept and quality on the bench ! If you over 50 you will not see a german XV competing in a WC in your lifetime !

Russia by 10 next week!

This is the best result in the history of German rugby. Never ever has Germany been better before.
I saw a catastrophic first half, but then I saw a side pulling it back together and denying Spain that precious bonus point.
And off course it has A LOT to do with the qualification mode because if Germany plays not only your 2 games well, but 3, they have the best chances to qualify.
So stop your nowhere leading negativity and enjoy what our team has achieved so far.

Back to topic the attendance for Cologne was 6102 (outsold again)
