That was hardly a game...it was a common training 3x20 minutes playing. Reality check in one week vs Georgia.

I think with a couple of exceptions, that's probably the best team we can put out there this time of the year.
We need the players from France as their season is in full flow...as for our young backs, will be a great experience.
We always had great games against Georgia in the past...no reason to expect less this time!

Weather seems ok ...a bit of rain today/tomorrow but nothing forecasted fo rest of week (6-7 deg Celsius by the weekend).

Fun fact : 7 CSM Bucuresti players from 3 different nations to play REC this week.

Davit Gigauri (Georgia), Hagen Shulte (Germany), Adrian Ion, Vali Calafeteanu, Florin Vlaicu, Nicolas Onutu (all-Romania) all in their starting XV + Alexandru Gordas (Romania) on the bench

As far as I know, he'll stay for next matches too. Probably for Georgia match was considered that Ursache (to his retirement game) and Gordas are enough.

Guys, I found a 1973 Argentine magazine that covered Romanian tour to Argentina. They say Romania had 201 clubs (FRR members), with a 14-clubs top division.

I know this probably has been talked before here, but just to know, how many clubs are affiliated to FRR now?

And the geography changed? Are there cities that had competitive clubs that are now without rugby?

He doesn't like the concept of having players with German ancestors playing for Germany. Nor the concept that those players who moved to Germany, because it is a great place to live in, decide to play for the German national team when they are eligible. He probably also doesn't like strange unknown faces that show up in his village.
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.
