True about Honduras, I was forgeting http://www.americasrugbynews.com/2015/11/30/guatemala/

Took Malawi off too, they played Lesotho last year: http://www.nyasashowbiz.com/malawi-defe ... gby-match/

Albania was an Italian-Albanians team that played, that's why I haven't put here. I thing we should wait for an Albania-based team to be formed (and they have clubs, so I believe they will appear soon).

Now that you said about the Virgin Islands I remember, yep, they played BVI: http://vifreepress.com/2016/04/st-thoma ... a-weekend/

But not sure about Puerto Rico, Belize and Palau? Do you have any link? Sint Maarten I think we should consider just after the Netherland Antilles dissolution.

Bolivia will appear soon too, before the 2018 South American Games, I am sure. I hope it is in 2017 finally.

I forgot to list Grenada in the absent countries too. I believe they never played a rugby match with a national team.

About Timor, they have a club indeed: http://noticias.sapo.tl/portugues/info/ ... 55665.html

With regard to East Timor, I lived out there for a little bit and don't believe that club was active.

Not much detail here, but I was aware that Palau has played teams from Guam - certainly in 1995. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_union_in_Palau

Puerto Rico fielded a team against BVI in 2012. http://www.bviplatinum.com/news.php?art ... 81690&ref= Maybe they should be off the list.

Belize fielded a team in the 1980's against someone touring there. But, I can not find a record of whom. Perhaps a British Naval Ship

I found a possible Cuba test match - they hosted BVI in Havana in 1999, losing 3-18.

I have checked my scrawled notes from 1979 and note the following:

A Bangladesh XV played an India XV and beat them 18-8.

Malawi beat Seychelles

Liberia appears to have played Nigeria in 1981. (S Duncan played hooker and reported on the match)

Both Hawaii and the Alaskan Oosiks played in international (sevens) tournaments in the 1970's.

I hope some the forum members might be able to add to, or verify, these notes

They do relatively well in combat and strength sports in the Olympics. Medals in wrestling and weightlifting last year. So in that regard they are similar at least. It's too bad rugby hasn't caught on there at all.

What happened to Azerbaijan?

They are still listed in the World Rugby website as a member: http://www.worldrugby.org/member-unions/4

Also, Rugb Europe's new website does not provide members list, I coudn't find anything there... just Armenia was expelled from RE and WR?

I read that youth rugby fell into decline for the last 10 years or so in Azerbaijan and they were basically left without a new generation of players. The national team started getting older and no one was able to replace them. Last I heard they weren't planning any tests any time soon.

A new club has been formed in Baku hopes of fixing this apparently... http://qarabagrc.com/en/club/history/

Africa Rugby changed Central Africa, Egypt and Libya's colours: http://www.rugbyafrique.com/federations/

Look like they are associate members again.

Tirana (Albania) played Kosovo Roosters on the 26th February. Tirana won 22-8. There is a re-match in Peja on March 26th. Neither have unions yet but are in the process of forming them. There is an initiative trying to get off the ground to start youth rugby in Kosovo.
