There's an outside chance Chkhaidze could play, everyone else is gone.

Most of my ancestors are Italian, I'm certainly not rooting against them. What I demand is equal opportunities.

I'm half Italian and feel the same way.

Plenty of upon-a-time-italians here :) Naburu, 4N, Grande and maybe also RugbyLiebe

Maybe some of the Argentine posters also. My grandfather and his second wife (who is Sicilian) have visited Italy a few times, they are going back again soon. Never been there but one day. :)

My oldest known ancestor has an Italian sirname, but that was nearly 400 years ago.
But you know, a year without a holiday or trip to Italy is in general a lost year :D
So count me in 8-)

Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Well, many of my ancestors were italians too. Despite living in Algeria (and been born in Malta), the grand-father of my grand-father did WW1 in italian army. Him or his son were the last having italian nationality.

And my first rugby coach is an Italian guy, from Prato, that also helped a lot rugby in Mato Grosso (look at the map, he went far!). In fact there are a some Italians here developing rugby. Always good to discuss which pizza is the best, Italy's or São Paulo's  (well, they are clearly different...)

I don't know this. I know and appreciate "Parmesan eggplants" but I never heard about chicken parmesan (I don't eat meat).

Well, I searched now on google: basically it's the same of Parmesan eggplants but with chicken instead of eggplants : )

Italian-Americans and Italian-Brazilian started to make meat with the parmesan concept  In Brazil it is VERY normal parmesan beef.

We also do parmesan cauliflower a lot. And eggplant, of course.

You must find out what we do with pizza

I suppose if it's a sci-fi story based about 100 years from now, an addition of 2 more teams to the Rugby cartel by that time sounds about right.

Canalina gets a lot of spanking over here representing Italy and now when REC credibility is zero, brings up this map. What a cruel revenge :)).

PS. Our kit is very strange also.

I just like maps and illustrators, there was not malice in it.

I'd like the idea of Georgia and Romania involved somehow in the Six Nations, but I don't want the ancient fashion of 6N to be disrupt. To create a tournament which permits the first thing avoiding the second is the big, difficult aim

I know, just joking :).

I don't believe in 8 nations even if Petrache said that he talks with Georgians and they want to make a common proposals for 8 Nations tournament. I don't believe in this because i don't see how they can make an attractive proposal for 6N. I do believe in a Euro Championship every 4 years but after this edition of REC, our credibility is 0. So i'm not to optimistic about any of this.

Yeah, until RE change a Euro championship is off the table. The thing is the REC has outgrown it's amateur setup, only when that becomes more professional will the 6N even consider entering into a Euro Championship or Promotion/Relegation.

The problem i RE has never really made a serious proposal for a Euro Championship. If they sold the 6Ns the idea of a Euro held in the same part of the year as the RWC (September - October) on Lions years and gave the 6Ns the lion's share of the revenues generated they might be interested. Sell the organizing rights for something like 70-80 million euro, offer the 6Ns 90% of that money and they might be interested, specially the Celts, because they need more money to keep their players from leaving for the Aviva or Top 14, and specially because the championship wouldn't clash with any other internationals. They can still have the Lions tour and the November tests. So, nothing lost for them, only more gained.
