URBA games are exclusive to ESPN. You won't find them on their website or YouTube channel.
Re: Argentine club rugby
NOA (northwestern region - Tucuman, Salta, Santiago del Estero) club final is this weekend. It’s Tucuman Lawn Tennis (club of Nico Sanchez) vs Universitario (club of Daniel Hourcade). Should get a decent crowd I think.

Re: Argentine club rugby
There's rumours that some province unions are discussing to restart the Argentine Rugby Championship next year.

Don't they have a nickname? Tucuman Toros or something?

For real? What's that in honor of? Come to think of it, I think I read an interesting article about Argentinian club nicknames once. For example, the Buenos Aires club Hindu were founded by a university theatre group named the Hindustanicos for no apparent reason. Nothing to do with India

Thanks. Learn something every day . . .
Re: Argentine club rugby
The crowd was over 7000, not bad for a regional club final.

There was a similarly impressive crowd at la Bombonerita for the Rosario-Santa Fe regional semifinals:
Jockey 31 Duendes 28. GER 17- Old Resian 21.
Final game in Grantfield Stadium, Old Resian against Jockey Club de Rosario next weekend. Both are already qualified for the nationals.
Semifinal attendance 6500 (10,000 expected for the final).

Meanwhile, in TRL (rugby unions of Santa Fe, Rosario and Entre Rios of Argentina) at Grantfield Stadium, with a crowd of 13000 people, Old Resian won its maiden crown, beating Jockey Club 13-6. Number 8 Carcamo from ORC was MOTM. Duendes RC got third with a 27-21 victory over GER, the number 1 seeded that missed a lot his number 10, Teo Castiglioni sent to SA with Jaguares XV. Congrats Old Resian, champions of the 20th TRL!

More on that:
"Now, 16 clubs from the Interior will play Torneo del interior “A” (4 from TRL, 4 from Cordoba, 4 from Tucuman, 2 from Cuyo, and 2 from Mar del Plata Union). the 8 teams of QF will qualyfied to the Nacional clubs competition with the TOP 8 clubs from URBA (BA rugby Union), for the title of NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. That is the way of Argentina amateur rugby is organized. Other Unions played Torneo del Interior B and C, with promotion/relegation system, Anyway, the facilities, coaches, etc have been improving consistenly, so it´s amateur but nothing to compare with 20 years ago. All the Clubs must give away players for any team or request from the UAR. (U18-U20-Jaguares XV, Jaguares, Argentina XV, Pumas, Pumas Sevens, etc) And early talent and size are preselected around 17 years old and start training “pro style” with some assistance to the boys to help do that in regional centers of main unions (BADLAR PLAN). Nobes or Carlos can correct me with some details, but more or less works like that. Also women´s rugby is growing fast."
Re: Argentine club rugby
Why are you posting random comments from the roar? There are like ten mistakes in just one paragraph. The Badlar Plan? Really?

Spelling mistakes (not important) or factual mistakes (please specify)?
I wouldn't describe them as random comments. This is information - plus a great video - being provided by someone who is part of the rugby community in Rosario. Looks like it was a great regional final with an incredible atmosphere.

Re: Argentine club rugby
- It is called PLADAR. BADLAR is our benchmark interest rate.
- Recruitment starts at M15 not M17
- Cuyo has only one club in Interior A. Uruguay has the other spot.
- 12 teams qualify from Interior to the Nacional
- All URBA Top 12 clubs play in the Nacional
- Interior C was dissolved
You also posted wrong attendances for the semifinals and finals of TRL. Those venues can’t hold more than 4.000 fans.

Thanks for the corrections. Good job I didn't include any of that in the article then

Carbonero. Pladar is rigth. My mistake. Uruguay has one spot, in Torneo del interior, you are rigth, but just read 8 teams urba vs 8 teams interior in Nacional de clubes.
Old resian makes more stands for U20 world cup, and more for the finals, was there. 13000 people. You are wrong with that

Don't understand one thing;
The Top 12 clubs of Interior 2019 will be already qualified to Interior 2020? Or they'll only qualify spots for their regional leagues?

The top 12 teams at the Torneo del Interior 2019 will qualify to the Torneo Nacional de Clubes 2019.
As for the 2020 tournaments, who knows.
