Personally I think it's a weird ass stadium. Kinda cool but also just oddly shaped.

Also -- I had the chance to speak to our good friend victorsra about South American Rugby. As you can tell, I am American but a fan of the region. Victor shared a lot about rugby in the region that I've never known about. Give it a listen, there's probably at least a few new things for people in here.

I think that the Pan American Games champion should qualify to the Olympic Games.

That is not the stadium either, this is the rugby field

Have they done renovations to the stadiums in the area?

yeah like in all these games but the worst facilities have left for rugby is basically a field with one stand, while football will be played in this two stadiums i was expected that at least in one of these two rugby was played

Oof, I would not want to watch rugby in Felix Capriles with all that space between the stands and the field (and the glass wall?). Estadio Villa looks perfect for rugby though.

Now getting something positive from these games is that this "stadium" will be exclusive of rugby and the clubs of cochabamba (four currently) can use it when they like and without cost (as far i know)

It's not a grand stadium but it's a very nice looking pitch

Looks good enough for rugby in Bolivia, doesn't it? The grandstand is probably bigger than the one in Héroes de Curupayty.

Yeah more than enough in fact and its well located too Cochabamba is in the middle of the 2 largest cities in the country and its not as high as La Paz or as hot as Santa Cruz would be a good place for future tests matches

Any potential Mexican franchises should play in MLR. The distances are too large. Medellín is already halfway between MLR and LAR cities.

Maybe they can link up with a North American league one day, but currently games vs Colombian and Paraguayan clubs seems like a better fit (plus they will face them in Americas Rugby Challenge). You never know, the Liga Americana could expand and split into North and South conferences if it's successful. Makes travel easier.

I really hope for Colombia’s sake that they get a very good airline sponsor. That’s a lot of travel for them. They may as well live in the Southern cone for half the season.

Once rugby is more developed in Colombia and Mexico, and maybe Venezuela and Peru, they could move on to create a league of their own, it'd be more practical for them.
