Paraguay, Chile and Brazil start in the second tier of the competition. Uruguay got promoted last year. The next step should be the U18 Campeonato Argentino.

Really? But I've just talked to the Brazilian 7s coach and he said there are no tournament scheduled until Punta...

I was there, a beautiful night of rugby. Really well attendance in the stadium, an entertaining match well played by both and imo a lot of things to learn for the region.

Tucumán has great players, GREAT, at the level of any professional league, but they need more work time and professional structures. This is what Argentine rugby needs and can, strong professional teams based on provincial unions.

Brazil is serious candidate for a place in France 2023, thanks for the match!

I don’t know man. You are still in the fixtures. The official presentation is tomorrow so we should know more then.

I just realized that Uruguay got promoted to the second division. The U17 development tournament that they won this month was the qualifier. That means we have Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay in the U18 pyramid. Brazil should join next season.

Again Sudamérica Rugby publishes the fixtures without kickoff times. Does anybody know the times of the U18 matches?

I asked the President? (Head Coach) he said they don't have one yet but they have a Orchid as a symbol (orquidia )

Panama = Diablos Rojos (Red Devils)
Costa Rica = Guaria (it is a type of Orchid).......I think its the National Flower of CR
Nicaragua = Tiburones (Sharks).....................Special Freshwater shark in the Big lakes
El Salvador = Torogoces (a bird).................Bird we called a Mot Mot in CR ...
Guatemala = Jaguares[

Belize's national team nickname seems to be "Macaws", which are ara parrots

It’s great for these teams to start these u18 tournaments but I wonder how helpful these are for Argentina who blew out Paraguay and Brazil (but kept it close to Uruguay). I guess they have to start somewhere.

The UAR has given little priority to province teams, which are our natural rivals for these tournaments.

Andres Zafra scored his first try for Agen this past weekend. It was a charge down near the 5 meter and he recovered it to score in the 78th minute. They won the game with this score.

This has been the biggest promotion for FCR and has been featured in some outlets like El Colombiano. I’m fairly certain the journalist for El Colombiano is the son of the FCR President (a good connection). They’re equating this try to a Colombian scoring their first goal in a major European league like England, Spain or Germany. Good to see them put it into terms that the average fan will understand.

I love beach rugby, would love to see it gain popularity. I've never played though and I think the only one by me is a flag tournament and I want tackle!
