I like the extra emphasis on the O for Colombia lol. The game was pretty much as expected but historic in the sense that it was the first ever match between Argentina and Colombia, albeit not a test match. FCR really went all out for the fan experience here so I think that’s the biggest takeaway - they worked their ass off getting people through the door and exposed to rugby (partnered with the big university next door) and then gave them reason to enjoy the experience with a big Fanzone.

Good on Chile for closing out close to Uruguay. I think there were some u20 players on the Uruguay squad so it’s good to get them some senior matches.

That was good for Colombia. Remember Chile was beaten at home for a larger score by Argentina XV in the ARC...

Big names in Medellín. The most of then surely will be the base of players to play the Currie Cup next year with the Jaguares XV.

The outcome was as expected but many Colombian fans are still very happy with the game and the fact that the Tucanes are challenging themselves. They have lots of hope and it's very encouraging to see. It will be interesting to see how they fare against Uruguay XV but the real game is against Paraguay. If they beat them then they jump up to 33. The next challenge after that is Chile who I don't think they have the opportunity to face until at least next SA6N.

You mean this year? :)

Yeah, definitely - add to this squad some Pumitas and Jaguares / Pumas who won´t be taking part of the RWC (I could venture to say, Juan Pablo Zeiss, Gaspar Baldunciel, Felipe Ezcurra, Sebastian Cancelliere, Juan Mallia, Ignacio Mendy amongs others...)

Same probably applies to Argentina´s franchise at the SLAR

Where to watch this week's games: http://sudamerica.rugby/espanol/sar6n-d ... -3?nid=133

It seems that Colombia doesn't have a streaming option which is disappointing. This is the most important game for them as it is actually winnable. Paraguay always streams their games for free through Youtube, it would've been nice to see that here as well.

I love Colombia's hooped jersey. So distinctive. Bold statement. Bring back the hoops!
Apart from Argentina, are there any other test sides wearing hoops?

I was sure I saw them at some point with yellow and blue hoops, but that doesn't show up on Google images. Did I imagine it?...
