Official Canada Rugby League National Team Thread
I don't really care much for rugby league but I'm trying to get there.
Canada are gearing up for the 2nd game of the Colonial Cup against the United States on October 18th at the A.A. Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken, Penn (why the fuck?)...
Line up hasn't been announced but the squad has former Union player, Steve Piatek.

I'm not a huge league fan either, but I have to say, I really like their logo.

Yeah it;s pretty badass
Re: Official Canada Rugby League National Team Thread
the Colonial Cup
That's even less PC than the Cook Cup which was presented for competition between Australia and England a couple of decades ago

If they're good enough to play at World Cups, then why not in between?

Dude, there's no stands & hardly anybody watching on the sidelines. It looks like a bunch of guys just got together for a run-around at the local park.

There's very clearly stands... Besides, rugby league is even less popular than rugby union here. Most people have heard of rugby, but wouldn't know that there's multiple codes.
Re: Official Canada Rugby League National Team Thread
Oh yeah, I looked real hard and spotted the stand on the second attempt. I counted 43 spectators on it. So that's the world's 10th & 13th-ranked rugby league nations in action, then...

I didn't even watch it haha. But in fairness I was watching the Munster - Cardiff Blues game.
Like I mentioned in OP, I have no real interest in rugby league but i'm trying. I might give it a look tomorrow.
