I only saw this post today, so it's a bit late... A tip for in the future...

Install Tor Browser. It connects through various servers that may located in countries where there is no geo-block. Change the settings in script block to allow scripts globally (The blue as at the right-hand top - They say "dangerous", but its only if you go to illegal websites).
If it is still blocked, then click the arrows next to the onion on the left and click on "New Tor Circuit for this site". Sometimes you have to do this few times (2 or 3), but it works...

Only just seen this. I have raised this with World Rugby several times and they have said, time and again, that if it is not being shown by the rights holder then it would be unblocked. This is happening more with Sky etc. in the UK, but clearly not in all areas.

Complain to World Rugby. Really make a fuss. Get other people to do so as well. Probably won't change in the short term (mid-tournament) but may do in the longer term.

If you can give me chapter and verse on this I will pass it one WR as it is unacceptable.

Yeah, I couldn't get it in the Netherlands either. I didn't try too hard though.

I don't know how Japan could escape relegation this season. It really looks like girls versus women.

OK, these girls beat England later in the day, but they're both bound to Challenge Trophy.

England are so frustrating, beating USA and then losing to Japan. With their resources and player numbers they really ought to be up there in the top three or four, not floundering and failing to make the quarters. What is going wrong?

Rugby Australia lobbied World Rugby and a new three-day, all-in tournament was created for this year.

“It is a result of the success and what the girls have pioneered as players on and off the field. That had a big part in pushing that,” Walsh said. “But I reckon in terms of the growth of the game, to have men and women together across a full world series would be the ultimate goal", said Australian women’s sevens coach Tim Walsh.

“Three days, three gates, three days of broadcasting, parity of men and women, I just think it is the way forward. We have been pushing and lobbying for that for a while and it’s great to have Rugby Australia initiate that.”

“We get to play in front of the same crowd and having that whole package I think is awesome from a marketing perspective,” Caslick said.

Great to see Japan beating England. But the Womens Series core teams competition is too much. They suffered what Brazil suffered during last season. A great result, but the bottom place...
